The Golden Nugget is a nice hotel that has plenty of things to do downtown that is within walking distance. The beds are comfortable although the pillows are somewhat less than desirable. They were small and somewhat flat. The room does not have a TV guide card so you just have to flip questions until you get to the program you want. The gym hours were 9a-6pm. The pool hours were 10a-6pm and the slide was already closed down for the season. The checkout/check-in lines move fairly quickly. The business center has rates that are rather pricey. You even have to pay to print your boarding passes, which I think should be a courtesy to all guests. They did supply 2 bottles of water daily in my room and housekeeping did a nice job. Room service was nice though there is a $5 service charge on all orders.
