I went alone, would probably have had more fun of I had gone with a friend. Dogs seemed like they were having a good time. Tails were wagging and all had an alert demeanor. Go EARLY before the races if you want a table for lunch. After the races begin people wont get up so that new diners can sit down for lunch. Very busy on the Wednesday matinee, pretty much standing room only when a rain shower came through. Mostly retired people at the Wednesday matinee. Some children, but not too many that I couldn't get away from the misbehaved ones. Long lines for making bets. Staff was nice and friendly enough. I had enough fun that I will try again sometime with a companion.
