We went here for our honeymoon. It was a huge disappointment. We had booked a "luxury room with an ocean view". We got a room no nicer than your average Holiday Inn. It had chipped furniture, a mini fridge that wasn't cold, holes in the curtains and comforter, and an outdated TV. Apparently the "ocean view" we paid extra for means the ability to see some tiny sliver of the ocean if you angle yourself just right on your balcony. Our travel agent had booked the trip with all of the honeymoon amenities (honeymooners sign on door, champagne, rose petals), so we were surprised to find none of them there when we arrived. When we finally asked, we were informed that another couple was given our original room just before we arrived with all of the amenities meant for us still in it. Huh?!! The electricity went out about ten times on one of the nights we were there and we had no water for an entire evening. We asked if this was normal and were told it happens quite frequently. You also have to bug them constantly to provide the things they indicate come with your all inclusive stay. We didn't get our complimentary bottle of alcohol until the 5th day of our trip, and that was after asking for it every day and being told someone was "on their way with it" each time. They also don't restock your mini-bar, besides water. For the last few nights of our trip, all we had left in the mini bar was water. I wish it ended there, but it didn't. On our first day we had asked the concierge how to book an appointment at the spa. He indicated that we should wait to book an appointment and "because it was our honeymoon, he was going to talk to his manager about getting us a free massage". After stringing us along for days, we found out on day 4 that the free massage had nothing to do with us being on our honeymoon and involved sitting through a three hour time share presentation. In the end, we booked our own message. I can't say enough how big of a disappointment this place was. There was one exceptional concierge, Walker, who stepped up to try to help us. Everyone else was extremely dismissive of our complaints. Avoid this place at all costs. If you do go, pray you get Walker as your concierge.
