Worst “spa” experience of all time. We have $150 in gift certificates purchased for Christmas, made an appointment a week ago and they told us we needed to give them credit card info to make an appointment and if we cancelled this appointment we would be charged $150 for the cancellation, even though we already had it all paid for through gift certificates this “spa” provides to customers. So over the weekend it snows four feet in town. We call the morning of, two and a half hours in advance to confirm they are open and that the appointment is still good, in which the guy, Mark I believe his name was, smuggly tells us “Why wouldn’t we be open?” I don’t know Mark, maybe cause schools are closed, the garbage company isn’t picking up trash and half the town is shut down due to four feet of snow. So we dig ourselves out of the driveway drive all the way to the “spa” and a lady at the front desk of the “spa” tells us that our appointment is cancelled because the masseuse couldn’t make it because of the snow. We were forced into this due to the fact that if we cancelled we would be charged money we had already paid for because of the gift certificates. No compensation, no apologies, just asked to reschedule in which case they could try to charge us again if god forbid, we had to cancel. Most unprofessional business experience of my life. If you’re looking for that classic spa treatment of relaxation and peace, I suggest you go anywhere else in the world. It’s more worth your time and money to drive out of town than to have to deal with this nonsense.
