Great itinery
The shop was nice, food was just ok. We did not eat in the dining room. Buffet food was usually cold, no fruit salads, no self assist beverage service. Only cut fruit was seeded watermelon on the rind, pineapple and cantelopw on the rind, whole apples, Oranges and kiwi. Bananas only for breakfast. No bowls for salads. Didn't attend any shows. Casino was very tight first couple days and crowded at night. Boarding was smooth, departing was long lines but they moved fast. Room was nice had good service.

No Jackpot for me!!!
I like Mariner of the Seas...larger than normal balcony cabins that I loved. Food was very good in every venue...I wish they offered 24 hour pizza like Carnival does. The ship is nice with plenty to do for all ages. The first day as I was asking different crew members questions, I was surprised when one crew member didn't know what aft and forward meant, another didn't know the entry location as we were trying to board and yet another had no idea where the closest restroom was located...that's kind of scary. The slots were soooo tight, I eventually just stopped playing and love to play...very disappointing.. Two days in a row, possibly more, the bathroom located closest to the Windjammer was closed for "cleaning"...now I'm no Rocket Scientist, but it seems to me lunch time in the buffet (Windjammer) is probably not a good time to close the women's bathroom for cleaning. Although I thoroughly enjoyed my cruise, it was all the "silly little things" that became quite annoying as the days went by. We just returned from one on Celebrity and EVERY staff member was amazing, not so much on this one. RCL needs to "up their game" a bit.

Mariner of the Seas November 2022
I am a slots player and on this cruise I found the slot machines to be very tight. The one exception was "Hot Stuff" machines. The casino was a fun atmosphere and there were lots of players but very very few winners.

Tight Machines!
The slots were a bit tight on this cruise. Ricky said they only had a few had pays during our sailing. I do love the layout. My only complaint would be that they TURN THE VOLUME ALL THE WAY DOWN on all machines. I love Huff n Puff and was excited to play however you could hear any hits even on full volume. I prefer Oasis Class ships but still had a wonderful week.

Low energy
I am not a slot player, mostly tables Three Card Poker and. Black Jack. The casino team members are amazing. Loved Doug the Assistant Casino Host (he really needs the opportunity to shine outside of Ricky, the main host) This is a super friendly casino staff but I never walked away from a table up. We lost, lost, lost… but didn’t mind loosing with such friendly staff members.

Fun Cruise
While I did not win a hand pay I did see some of the greatest wins at sea. one guest won $20,000 on wheel of fortune, Drums paid a lucky person 14,000 and lots of 4000.00-2000.00 hand pays. Casino host had events every night and was also on the floor talking to everyone. Also I did receive additional COMPS at the end on my account which was a nice surprise. Maybe next time I will be one of the winners.

Casino
Casino wasn't overcrowded and not too smoky which was a very good thing. Waiters were friendly. The slots were very tight and did not see people winning. Introduced ourselves to the Casino hostess. She informed us that we each needed 2500 points to become the Prime level which would give us free drinks in the casino and a free interior room cruise. We both were above the points needed. We received free drinks in the casino but were never given a free cruise certificate. When we were leaving the casino on the last night, we did not see the Casino host. We had a Jr suite which we enjoyed. Our room stewart Marcina was great!

Mariner cruise 12/16/19 through 12/20/19
Casino was a little loose the first night, saw only one win over 1000 for 2200. We Played a lot lost a lot , lol 😂 I do wish Royal would reconsider that second stop at Coco Cay, even though we missed it do to weather the Casino had no slot tournament, Black jack tournament on the sea day because last minute change. Theses day was a good day to spend in casino now it is closed. I did make prime for next year and had a good time. Off on Celebrity Infinity on the 30th for a New Years Cruise.

Great Time on Mariner
Mariner was a great ship size. It is one of the few ships that has a cabin which can sleep 5 or 6. My wife and our 3 kids had a blast on the Mariner. We especially loved the all the activities for the kids and we never stood in line long. With my time dining, we were able to go to the dining room as early as 5:30pm which worked perfect for us. Then, the availability of the late night dining options was certainly a plus. Of course, we also enjoyed the casino. I wish they still had a few of the older reel slots, but they did have some of the newer ones so that not all of them were video slots. Overall, we had a great time and can't wait to go back.

Great ship! Remodeled, renewed, rejuvenated
I really liked this ship. It was easy to navigate to the different places on the ship. The service was excellent. The specialty restaurants were great and the rooms were well-equipped. Plenty of storage areas.

Excellent Experience
The Mariner of the Seas was fresh off of a $120 million refurbishment. The ship looked crisp and clean. Our embarkation was smooth getting to use the Suite line because of being in a comped junior suite.(thank you URComped!) Our stateroom was perfect and there was 2 letters from the casino hosts. One for me and one for my wife. The letters welcomed us to our Prime tier in casino royale. Not bad for our first cruise on Royal Caribbean. This tier gives free drinks in the casino, no fee cash withdrawals and also a yearly free cruise in inside stateroom. Very nice. The casino was not. Rowded at all and feel it had a good mix of slotas...wonder wheels, wonder tower, buffalo gold, dancing drums, ect. We received daily gifts from the casino hosts which were greatly appreciated. In addition on the last night we received a certificate for a free cruise. All in all...great ship..great casino and a great time!!
