Quantum not for us

This is a hard review to write, but I have to be honest.
This was the worst casino on any Royal ship we have sailed.
If you like tables, then it’s for you. Almost the entire center of the casino in filled with tables and the slots were on the walls.
The available games were limited to a few lock it link and then the rest were, well, not so fun. This is my opinion so please read this as such.
With so few good machines to play, you had to go very late to possibly play something you wanted. We did not play as much in this casino.
We did not care for the decor of the ship, the food was mediocre for a Royal ship.
The staff did as well as they could but they were obviously understaffed or under trained.
To end on a positive note, it was an Alaska cruise.
The UR Comped team was great as always and we are looking forward to our upcoming sailing on the Allure.

No video poker/keno
The Quantum is a beautiful ship, but it has NO video poker/keno. All they have are Chinese video machines. The pit boss told me it is because the ship was built for the Asian market. I was so disappointed and didn’t play any slots on this trip. I won’t sail another ship built for Asia.

Second Royal cruise
Our stateroom was very nice and larger than we expected. The staff throughout the ship was very friendly and accommodating. The food was top notch.
The casino left something to be desired. They had three tables and an automated machine for some Asian game utilizing three dice. They were never opened, just wasted space. There was no craps table. That meant that at busy times it was hard to get to your favorite slots.
Overall, I enjoyed our cruise and look forward to the next one.
