we were offered a free room for 1 extra night through a flyer sent under the door over night, after reviewing the flyer i decided to called the front desk and make sure that it was for our room and was still available. i was assure it was ours and was advised to come to front desk anytime. so we planned our day according to that and left all our luggage un paked in the room to attend our meeting at 11 am. on the way out we stopped at the front desk just to make sure everything was alright and we had the room for the same night. when asked at the desk we were told this was a mistake and was not suppose to be for our room even though the paper had our room number hand written and the confirmation code on it. so we asked the lady what are we were suppose to do we had planned our day according to that and we were running late to a meeting and did not have time to go back up stairs to pack everything and be at the meeting on time and the answer we got was the most rudest answer to a customer, IF YOU THINK I AM GOING TO GIVE A FREE NIGHT FOR THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, I WILL NOT GIVE YOU A FREE NIGHT FOR A SMALL MISTAKE. please remember i did not ask a free night if i wanted to stay a night i would have paid for another night but since we were offered a free night , we decided to leave our bags in the room and come back to the casino to gamble after the meeting and leave later in the evening instead of early afternoon. WHAT KIND OF 4 STAR HOTEL OFFERS FREE NIGHT AND THEM TAKES IT BACK WITH SUCH A RUDE FRONT DESK. i travel to hotels 3 times a month and i promise i will not come back to this hotel even if they paid me now.
