Not worth the trip. Marketing sent a promo for popular item. We decided to drive the 75 miles one way and arrived 3 1/2 hours before the end of the promo to be told that they were out. We were offered a rain check or cash amounting to half the retail value. The people that took the rain check had their names added to a list to receive a postcard on a few weeks. Really? Way to bait the customer. Then insult the customer. Asking them to settle for way less, or expect that they would prance happily back a few weeks later. O.M.G. Anyone checked the price of gas lately? I called guest services as we were leaving the casino (didn't spend a penny)to talk to someone about why with a big Friday promo they ran out of stock well before the people getting off work had a chance to get there?! I got transferred. She took my name and card number to pass along, (probably to a trash can as I never got a follow up call) I told her that in the amount of time it took to go through the line of shame that the number of people waiting for essentially nothing had wound it's way to the Grand Rewards counter and there was no one from the casino staff out there to tell the people that they had wasted a trip. 'Oh', she said. 'Well we don't have people stationed out there, bit we will have someone showing up every once in a while.' Why not just punch me in the belly and spit in my face and while I'm down, steal my wallet. Lose the customer.
