We parked out bus here while we visited Yellowstone. Great bathrooms and showers. Hookups are available and it was basically empty at the beginning of June. The dump station is in the back though. So that was a bummer.

Just spent $20 per ticket for me and my little girl to attend the Jurassic Park tour at the Idaho State fair. This was a complete rip off. There is an exhibit with cheesy anima Tronic “Chucky cheese” type dinosaurs. Everything else cost “tickets” each ticket cost five dollars. To sit in a egg wearing virtual reality goggles and rock back-and-forth for 30 seconds it cost two tickets ($10). You can walk through the entire exhibit in about seven minutes. You can pay five dollars to ride and electric ATV around in a circle. You can pay ticket to get on a inflatable air jumper. How are you going to have you been to it yet it’s a rip off save your money it takes seven minutes to go through some anima Tronics it look like they’re made by Chucky cheese for everything else cost ticket self five dollars a ticket for $10 you can sit in an egg rock back-and-forth and put on virtual reality goggles oh man good luck
we love the fair. we love 4 blocks away. the crowds can be a bit trying but we are there almost every day. we take the grandkids on the shuttle and the little ones have a lot of fun! the food is great and i spend a cpl of months losing the weight i gain and then it's the holidays! LOL the exhibits are great and we really enjoy all the fair has to offer. it'll be great when they offer a week entry instead of having to pay daily!
You know, for all the hype about the East Idaho State Fair every September...there's something to it! Such an interesting array of vendors, performers, livestock, art, food, and more. I can't help but wonder where everyone comes from to be a part of this. Definitely worth the entrance fee to see what is beyond the front gates. Parking is worth paying for if you show up on the afternoon. And yes, whatever food vendor won the food trophy that year, buy from them, it'll be a good experience!
