Less crowded. 10 bucks free play for signing up. Chance to win more free play after swiping card at kiosk. I won the minimum 5 bucks there, but free is free. Buffet was less than impressive but I had a coupon for bogo.
I went a couple times with my coworkers just to get outta the house. I'm not one for gambling so I mostly watched them play. We also ate at the buffet which was ok but wasn't worth the $30 I paid for it. I did enjoy looking at the bright lights everywhere. ☺
When I do go to the casino I usually go to Jackpot1 because it's close and I like the atmosphere but it's rare that I get any offers. I may get a buffet every now and then but the 5 dollars or more isn't apart of the freebies for me. I take people that don't have cars to play at the casinos but after this weekend I will go farther.
Coctail only seen once in our time there. Angela is spot on and Cindy is good the rest need work. More often than not my husband has to go to bar at least twice a night. Buffet could stand some up graded. And it would be nice to win more than $5.
my experience there has always been wonderful Samuel is awesome makes me always feel so good that we feel like we want to come back there instead of going to the other casinos also Mary Virgie and Bernice are wonderful people they make everyone feel good they're always very helpful and we love it there because of the people that are so good to us
This was our first time in Tunica since Penn National purchased Bally’s (now 1st Jackpot). We play a lot at Hollywood St Louis and we wanted to use our comps at the buffet. We were told by the buffet cashier that we didn’t have any comps. When we swiped at the kiosk, we had over $30. I don’t understand how this was even an issue. We were hungry, so we payed full price. It was the most disgustingly dirty place I’ve ever ate at. The quality of food was so poor, it was not edible. As I mentioned in other reviews, it is becoming very evident over the years how Penn Gaming and all of the other property owners are neglecting certain aspects of their properties. It’s sad to see what’s happening to Tunica & I hope they turn it around. At each casino we visited, the staff was rude, showed no sign of hospitality, and they made it very evident that they don’t care. This was at the 4 locations we visited. When I go anywhere, I want to feel welcomed and appreciated. Not too long ago, I got that in Tunica. Unfortunately not during this trip.
First time ever visiting this place (last night)and my experience at the buffet was terrible. They seem to have been under staffed and the buffet was empty mostly ( there was one cook doing his best to fill the buffet)there was hardly anything on the dessert buffet besides chocolate cake everything else was empty. .. My waitress was on her phone most the time and never came to my table to offer refills or to see if we needed anything. .. She was rude to another guest and didn't seem to want to answer their questions or serve them. ..
