Casino of the Rockies

This place is pretty nice. The grounds are beautiful and the exterior is amazing. See the pics. The restaurant in house is a solid 7 out of 10. It has golf, a pool, a casino and lots of history. The only downside is the rooms are a bit of a walk to the restaurant and man building. Plenty of parking. Also the stars are really beautiful at night due to the reduced lights from the buildings.

Casino of the Rockies

My wife and I stayed here for a couple nights early winter and we really enjoyed the place. The building and the grounds are nice and have a cool look. I appreciated that that casino wasn't integrated into the hotel so once doesn't have to walk through the casino to get to ones room. The price was very reasonable and the area surrounding Cranbrook was fun to explorer.

I came here for a tour of the building and its history as a residential school. The guide was generous with her sharing and stories it was a very impactful tour. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The building itself is also beautiful has unique features like exposed brick walls. I highly recommend a visit to the interpretive centre

Casino of the Rockies

Very nice hotel and resort. Off the beaten path from main highway. Very quiet hotel. Nice heated outdoor pool, hot tubs, and indoor sauna and steam room. Small hotel gym is in good shape. Hotel is doing some renovations around the amenity area. Only draw back was not much choice of places to eat at lunch time. No outdoor activities offered for the winter.

Casino of the Rockies

This is a great little casino, and golf course. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. There are good deals on food, golf, and the new RV park. We will definitely be coming back this way again.

Casino of the Rockies

Hotel was what was expected for a older style refurbished building. Friendly staff everywhere. Gorgeous views. Nice course, didn't always feel like I was hitting the same club or shots over and over again. Love how they have the food shack right in the middle and lots of washrooms spread all over the course. Only reason the course isn't getting 5 stars is because there wasn't a discount on the course when staying at the hotel.

Casino of the Rockies

I recently spent 2 nights at St. Eugene having purchased a stay and play package at a golf show. My brother and I stayed in one of their 2 x Queen bed rooms, which was average in decor yet comfortable. We did not stay in the old building but in the newer wing very close to the casino which was great for us as we do enjoy throwing a few cards around. The casino is small, mostly slots, a few table games, no poker room. We played some blackjack and the dealers were very friendly and helpful in discussing strategies to newer players. Breakfast each morning was included in our package, I would recommend eating breakfast at the 19th hole bar and grill over the main building restaurant. We both enjoyed the breakfast food at the 19th hole over the St. Eugene Smokehouse, I would expect their dinner fare to be better, however we did not have another meal there. The breakfast made us hesitant to give it a try. Overall the property and staff are amazing. We experienced great, friendly, customer service at the front desk as well as with wait staff and course starters and marshals. I would stay again, and perhaps try a higher tier room class.
