The service at this resort was excellent! We stayed on the family side from 7/7- 7/13. The kids club was AMAZING! I can’t say that enough! The girls that work there are incredible! They truly go above and beyond for the kids. They have a kids show every night that my daughter got to be part of. They have a kids spa day, a kids foam party and so many other fun things for them to do. The room was nice, very clean the maid was excellent! They have great shows every night at the theater. There is always something fun going on. The buffets were good. Steak and hibachi restaurants were really good. The beach was amazing! They do a great job cleaning the seaweed every day. The staff members at this resort are great! NICKI IS TRULY FANTASTIC!!! We absolutely love her. We will for sure be back next year! Shout out to Nicki, Cola-Cola and all the fabulous ladies at the kids club. Thank you for making the Gomez's vacation so wonderful!

It’s like being at paradise. I was so sad when I had to go back home. The service is great and everyone that works there are friendly and energetic. I enjoyed every minute of my trip and I’m planning on going back. A big shoutout to the entertainment team that made sure everyone was having fun and actually kept my family and myself entertain !

This place is great. The resort was very clean and affordable. Food was good and had a large variety of options. Drinks were also great and the resort did not use cheap liquor. Spa was nice and worth your money for the hour long massage.

I loved the place. The most amazing things are the excursions. I took four of them. I found great one driving a jeep. My family and I took a lunch at the wild. We knew the real face of Dominican Republic, when we went trough a sugar cane plantation, a little town with many poor people, especially kids. Anyway, this was an unforgettable experience.

One of the best resorts I ever stayed at! Staff members were great! Entertainment was fantastic & food was good. I highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants to come to Punta Cana! If i was ever to come back to Punta Cana i would definitely book here again Shout out to Junior, Ramon & Coco-Cola

Currently sitting in the lobby of Majestic Colonial on the phone with my booking agency. Our reservation confirmation clearly says ‘Majestic Colonial Club’ plain as day. Rude front desk staff hands us a key to a regular room on the family side and forces us to call the travel agency and have them call the reservations department to make any changes. Now on hold waiting for 30 minutes and counting, waiting for them to confirm our booking with the hotel. The agency said it is written in the system as ‘Majestic Colonial Club’. No clue who is lying, but the fact is we paid extra for the club side. Horrible customer service, and we haven’t even started the trip. Obviously this will be the last time staying here, and we’ve been loyal to this hotel each time we’ve visited the Dominican Republic.

The service at the hotel was great. All employees are friendly and make you feel welcome. They have multiple bars around the resort with many options. There is also a good variety of restaurants with many options. Our room was well taken care of and, besides the shower, it was really up to date. I had booked a room in the family side of the resort because it was cheaper, but when I checked-in, they upgraded us to the adult side for no extra cost. The Casino at the resort was a great place to visit, as well as all the live events that they have each night. There is a fast food restaurant open all night, which was a great resource to have late at night. They have a sports bar that allowed us to stay up to date with the world cup games while having a drink. And if you want to stay fit while in vacation, they have a really nice small gym available as well. Would book again if I visit to Punta Cana in the future.

Five stars isn’t enough to express how great this resort is! We loved every minute of it! The staff is AMAZING. Everyone is so friendly and is always there to help! The different activities they offer were great too! We were never bored. Food was good at almost all of the restaurants. We LOVED the Japanese grill restaurant! Beach is BEAUTIFUL. Ramon was one of the entertainers and he was the best! Talked to us everyday and always made sure we were enjoying every second of our vacation!

I went here based on a suggestion from a friend who has been 2 or 3 times now... After I went, I convinced another person to go with their family and they loved it too! The staff at the Majestic Colonial was very kind and helpful through our week long stay. The beach was beautiful and the water was super nice! The sunsets were something out of a painting, just incredible. They had a few good options for food. We loved the hibachi for dinner, we did it twice! We also enjoyed the french restaurant for breakfast a couple times. There are plenty of fun activities happening around the resort. The pools were also pretty awesome. We typically alternated our days either starting at the pool, then hitting beach in afternoon, or vice versa. Either way, we hit both each day and it really kept us interested!

The location is amazing. Great entertainment. Best food is Sea by Sea lunch. Staff are amazing. Drinks are delicious. Room was great besides water pressure and temperature issues. Running toilet was annoying. Good gym. The Elegance club was the way to go. Pool lounge chairs always available. Beach beds always available. Plenty of shaded spaces to relax. Wait staff find you everywhere and are happy to bring you whatever you want. Beach is ok. Too much seaweed. I would definitely come back.
