Was not impressed at all!! First, I was double charged for the deposit instead of $50.00 a night it was $100.00 a night. Went down and talked to a cashier and asked why I was double billed. They said the lady that checked us in didn't put the right code in. Long story short I'm still fighting with L'Auberge and my credit card company to get it straight. Second, when we got to our room and was trying to relax all we could hear is parents and kids screaming from 4 rooms down. Third, when we went to the pool there were kids diving and jumping in the pool and that is one of the rules that you aren't allowed to do in the pool. They were pushing people and being disrespectful to the adults. There also were so many drunk adults in the pool and it was only noon. Fourth, the maid walked into our room as I was was getting dressed. She saw my husband take some of our suitcases down to the car and thought we had left even tho we still had our DO NOT DISTURB sign still on the door. When she would see my husband coming or going she kept asking if we were leaving yet. Made us feel as if she was rushing us to leave. Fifth, we had coupons from Baton Rouge but they wouldn't allow us to use them at the Lake Charles one. Sixth, our toilet in our room was awful. It sounded as if a rocket was fixing to blast off. Also, the toilet paper would not go down when we flushed it. The only way it would go down is by us pouring water in the toilet. The money you spend to stay there you would expect it to be a lot better.
