I have to say the property was extremely nice especially the rooms. My visit wasn't so pleasant. I decided to use my complimentary stay for my family birthday who was visiting Baton Rouge for the first time. During our stay there was a city power outage which I totally understand that the hotel didn't have any control of. The timeframe it took get things back organize was insane, especially when the room was on the 11th floor, had to walk up and down the stairs, false emergency alarms asking everyone to exit the building at 1am and the continuous loud overhead speaker for updates up until 2am just ridiculous. Don't hold your breath for a manager because I asked to speak with one twice and nothing happen besides the supervisor telling me didn't I give you a 40 coupon and I stated you sure did but I'm am still requesting a manager. Now for the last part we went to swim and immediately we were stopped which was fine!!! But what I didn't understand there was no sign before you enter the pool area stating it's only 4 to a room for the pool. So the employee calls downstairs to get permission for my family to attend the pool area which I thought was rude being that it was 6 of us and the adults wasn't swimming in the pool. So upon entering the area the employee said we were allowed to go swimming this time but if someone complains we would have to leave the area. I have never in my life seen anything like this before. I guess this is the treatment you receive on Comp trips. 7/17/17-7/20 was the worse time ever.
