I stayed over Labor Day weekend and I must say it's a beautiful place. The rooms are great and staff of friendly. The buffet does not shine but it's adequate. Unfortunately, I woke up to bedbug bites and found a bug crawling on the sheets upon inspection. They were prompt in their response in which they sent a supervisor to the room, who looked at the bug that I had bagged and told me to fill out an incident report. I did a report basically saying I did not need an ambulance and that first aid was offered. I also wrote out a statement of the incident. Not that I was looking for a handout but a packet of itch cream and an apology was not enough for me therefore, I will not be returning to Scarlet Pearl.
