7/27/2023 – This week, Celebrity Cruise Line began communicating with its passengers who will be visiting the Bahamas after January 1, 2024, informing them that there may be a change in the amount of taxes they have to pay. This change is a result of the Bahamian government altering its departure tax rate. There have been reports of some passengers owing more taxes, sometimes between $5 to $6 and even up to $13, while others have received refunds as they owe less tax. 7/27/2023 – This week, Celebrity Cruise Line revealed its plans for culinary additions to its upcoming Edge-class ship, Celebrity Ascent. Alongside a second installment of the world-renowned chef Daniel Boulud’s Le Voyage, they will introduce updates to the crowd-favorite Eden, an all-new exclusive four-course meal from Le Petit Chef, and a new whiskey-tasting experience in partnership with WhistlePig Whiskey!
