Greedy slots, a food court with expensive yet bad food and smelling of weed everywhere, the hotel itself is not a great choice. Location however is great, next to the lake and Heavenly village with the gondola up to the mountain. In total, an expensive place for a vacation but skiing on that mountain is awesome.

Would have been 5 stars but only guy in valet who barely spoke English. Was very helpful to people who came out after us, who looked like they had a little money and ignored us.. my husband is black guess he thought we wouldn't TIP as well. But we have both been In the service industry and we tip very well, especially for Minimum wage personnel. A little racial profiling for sure. Stayed 5 nights 6 days. Had to deal with this jerk 3 times. So last time he got what he thought he'd get...nothing! All other valets were very helpful and we rewarded well. Other than that would have received 5*''s

Always great time at Harrah's Lake Tahoe. Very clean rooms, great and courteous service. Has a pool, not a big one, but enough for a dip. Offers lots of gambling, and located very central, so that you can can chose to stay there if you not only plan to gamble but also to explore all that national forest of Lake Tahoe has to offer. It is located in the south part of Lake Tahoe, and the drive to emerald Bay is not to far, so is the drive to Fallen Leaf lake or Cascade Lake to name a few destinations to visit
