An absolutely brilliant venue! Went with my father to see the house band and it was the first night of their new set, holsts the planets. They were incredible, the host was funny and relaxed and happy to interact with the audience. 2 surprise singers as well, pretty sure they were just pulled out of the audience.
If you're a jazz fan then this is an absolute must to visit. The sheer talent of the performers in the house band cannot be overstated.
The venue itself is a short walk from the nearest tube station and relatively easy to find. We didn't eat but the drinks were decent and quite reasonably priced for the area.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere here. Cocktails, food and especially the live music were fantastic. I can highly recommend Ronnie Scott's Jazz Bar for live entertainment. the Jazz Dynamos were playing and they were great. We bought their CD and they were terrific in signing these items for their fans.
My first visit to the legendary Ronnie Scott's and I wasn't disappointed. The quality of the performers is important and I was lucky to see Billy Cobham and the Guy Barker Big Band. Awesome performers and the sell out crowd loved every minute. Music apart it's a great club, you are packed in but the views of the stage are excellent. The late night menu was good value, drink prices reasonable for the area and staff very efficient. Definitely felt more about the music than another tourist trap. Recommended.
