I have been to the Windjammer four or five times over the past 15 years. It's a great balance between nice and affordable. The rooms are comfortable and have all the proper amenities without going beyond necessity and into the extravagance stage. It's really all about the ocean and community and this resort is right there. They really seem fully understand that guests want to be out on the beach, eating at the local restaurants, or relaxing in and around the pool. The property is clean and well taken care of and particular attention is paid to the outdoor areas, which are really nice. It's not a large property, which is all the better for my style — quiet, relaxed, and splashes of fun (literally and figuratively). We'll keep coming back. I guess that's the true test of a resort, right?
