Restaurant @ Barretts Race Meet At Fairplex

Fairplex, formerly known as the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds prior to 1984, has been the home of the L.A. County Fair since 1922. It is located in the city of Pomona, California. The L.A. County Fair is now held during the month of September, but the facility is used year-round to host a variety of educational, commercial, and entertainment such as trade and consumer shows, conventions, and sporting events.

Restaurant @ Barretts Race Meet At Fairplex

This was our first time visiting Pomona California. We happened to be out for a business convention at the same time that the L.A. County Fair was going on. as luck would have it, after the convention we had time to walk through the fairgrounds and enjoy visiting vendor booths as well as taking in all the sights and smells of a fair. What amazed me more than anything was the fact that the fairgrounds were exceptionally clean and well organized despite being surrounded by thousands of people, sometimes having a hard time even moving. A great experience overall and would recommend it for anyone who has an opportunity to visit the grounds. Tip: Try the Texas doughnuts. 👍

Very fun during the La County fair I recommend it for everyone who can make it there. They have a nice fireworks show during 4th of July watch it from my porch 2 minutes away

Large two room suite with a very comfortable firm memory foam king size bed. Well maintained. Our room was near the elevators and the sound of the elevators was noticeable at times but not really annoying. Sensitive people should request rooms far from the elevators. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Restaurant @ Barretts Race Meet At Fairplex

The LA Fairplex has been a site of great fun for me over the course of 9 years. You don't really need to participate in anything there to have a good time. Since it has many rides and attractions during the late summer, I suggest you go. It's a relatively kid-friendly place, and everybody is welcome.
