Great accommodations. Ocean front. Kids loved the pool. My only complaint is the timeshare update that we had to go through. We were reminded that they were not trying to sell anything but they showed us about 5 different options for us to buy to get us to upgrade. Then we were given the option to do no payments for 12 months with a balloon payment at the 13th month. The nonsale sales push got old real fast - but I guess this is what we signed up for...

The staff is friendly and the location is great (away from the busy part of Galveston) and easy access to the beach. My complaint is our room was not cleaned very well when we checked it. We had to wait to check In while they cleaned our room so when we got into our room I was expecting it to be clean. The floors were gross (has not seen a mop in a LONG time!) The bathtub was gross, the kitchen counters weren't clean and the chair and couch have lots of stains on them. Also the towels they have are awful, I'd rather dry off with sandpaper. Needless to say we won't be staying here again.

This hotel is for the family vacation. The staff is very nice and accommodating, especially Jasmine. I however would not recommend this hotel for singles/couples under 45. There aren't any restaurant options in walking distance, and no snack options after 10 at hotel. -- Not even a vending machine. We we're also greeted by an unwanted visitor in our room (roach). When informed front desk, she seemed unbothered, and didn't offer any kind of service recovery. Be sure to leave exactly at check out time, and not a serving later as house keeping staff knocked on the door repeatedly, even for a platinum status guest.

The staff was really nice and helpful, especially Jasmine! The night before my departure a roach was crawling on the kitchen counter. The next day I was harrassed by the staff upon checkout with several knocks on the door and a phone call. I informed the staff about the roach and the front desk clerk seem to be unfazed. If you enjoy a midnight snack forget finding anything on the property. This is the first time I've ever commented on a hotel publicly and I will never visit this resort again.

Our family love this hotel ! We stayed there at least 4 times ( last time a week ago ) and we will do it again.. great place to stay with kids .. easy beach access and great pool are huge plus.. furthermore the front office staff are amazing especially Sandy! Love this lady.. professional, approachable, with huge smile on her face and always willing to help you with anything and anytime. She is a star! I recommend this hotel to many of my friends and all of them had a great experience with this Hotel

Restaurant @ Carnival Cruise Line - Triumph

My wife and I needed some Beach Therapy and this resort is ideal. Almost all of the hotels are on the other side of the road on Seawall Blvd. The resort is 3 miles south of the main drag but everything here is perfect. We don't have to cross the road. We don't have to walk down steps at the Seawall. We have great rooms and fantastic amenities.

Very nice and clean resort. Great location & view of the beach. Friendly staff and Shelley @ The Front Desk is super nice & gave good restaurant recommendations. Spent a night there for my husband’s birthday celebration & we had an amazing time.

This is not a resort! It’s a timeshare! So Dirty and used! Jessica, the evening check in clerk is as RUDE as it gets! She breaks federal laws by working off the clock just to be rude to Holiday Inn Customers! There is no site Managers to Answer for lack of service or their hires! Stay here if you like to be second class citizen. Better Places to stay in Galveston for the $$$$!

The rooms are nice. And you get a viewing the ocean from all but one side of the building. The pool is the only place that could use some cleaning. There is algae in low places where water sits and could make it extra slippery. We asked them to clean it up yesterday and it hasn't been done. And there is also a dirt ring around the top of the pool where water doesn't reach that could use a good scrub. Let's be honest this is somewhere we are going to spend 30 percent of our time and it would nice if they could be as clean as the rooms.

Stay here a few times a year. Not too bad, better than most places at Galveston. Depending on units you get most are clean and modern. Faculty, actually night man that closes pool can be rude if he thinks you stay over a minute past 10. He locks gates at 10 sharp with an attitude. But most of time faculty is nice....
