Everything was so delicious, our starter was the cheese in puff pastry, then I had the filet cooked to perfection medium rare on a bed of risotto which was perfectly seasoned with mushrooms and herbs. The vegetables were also superbly prepared and the Service was excellent. My friends also thoroughly enjoyed their choices of steak with baked potato and a vegetarian concoction. I received a complementary scrumptious chocolate dessert for my birthday which was a complete surprise to me since I didn't even mention it. My friends probably let the cat out of the bag.

Tell me you don’t just love potatoe skins... These are the best by far. Just ask my buddy Rob who goes every Friday night. I will say they have great martinis too if you are really looking to unwind and the service has been fantastic every time we eat here.

Very good food. The Caesar salad was fresh with a terrific dressing. The ribeye was juicy and melted in my mouth. The cowboy potatoes were good, as was the corn and string beans. Our waitress, Ellen, was friendly and efficient. The decor is like an inside of a cabin with low lighting, and comfortable booths.

My son took me to the Gambiling Cowboy for Father's Day, we were seated in 10 minutes even though we did not have reservations. Out food (New York steak) was prepared exactly to our request. All ingredients and side dishes are first quality. The steak was excellent. The atmosphere is upscale with a suggestion of informality which makes it a special place to be where you can have fun. All staff were professional, prompt to provide service, and easy going. One word of caution, I ordered the carrot cake dessert and it turned out to be seven layers high. I could only eat half, took the other half home which took me two days to finish. Very nice quality cake. I will clearly return to the Gambling Cowboy, it is becoming our favorite restaurant in Temecula.

Huge portion sizes at this brilliantly decorated and expertly run restaurant. Despite some issues with my wife's steak being a little underdone initially, the food was fabulous and the service just as good. My steak (the Ribeye cap - a speciality of the Gambling Cowboy) was probably the best steak I've ever eaten. Great sides and a relaxed, fun atmosphere made this a highlight of our trip. Would love to go again

I would say this place is a laid back but pricey environment. The food here is great make sure you bring your wallet. It was a little hard to find the entrance to there are a few floors. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor and you should be good.

Nothing screams old white middle class people like this place. The aesthetic was... well horse cowboy wild west stuff. The people there were mainly old white middle class people. I would suggest sitting on the deck because it has a very nice view of old town temecula there. I got a steak and oh my god was it good. The steak was something you dream of having. Sometimes I shoot up a night drenched in sweat because I'm jonesing for just one more bite of the steak. It was very expensive and the sides were only okay. I don't recommend it but if country people and the aesthetic is something you like, then you might like this place.

Incredible! Definitely call ahead and make reservations or use open table. The atmosphere was great. Decor was nice. I had the Prime Chateau Sirloin. Service was prompt. My meal came with potatoes and corn. Steak was cooked perfectly as ordered and had a perfect finish. Potatoes and corn were also well done. Overall I really enjoyed this place. Probably the best if not the best place in Temecula for dinner.
