This is no longer a classic ice cream parlour. Sadly, there are very few places that have heard the phrase, "If it ain't broke, don't try and fix it!"

My family loves coming here My 3 year old has the time of her life and the Farrell's may be different from others but the staff has always been nice and pleasant to us.

The Santa Clarita location has changed a lot since we came last year. The Farrell's Ice Cream menu has been replaced with a fast food restaurant menu with a limited amount of ice cream items. Apparently you have to book a party before you can take advantage of some of the larger traditional Farrell's Ice Cream specials, such as a volcano. I can only hope that they are looking over the reviews that are coming in because truly I would like to be able to just go there and purchase a volcano for the Family.

This place has changed big Time, it's not the fun place you bring your kids to celebrate their birthday and scare everyone with the sound of the drums to celebrate the birthday. You go to the front to order your food like a fast food restaurant , no more servers like before. The whole place looks dark and sad. No one even came to our table to sing with the Sunday. I will never come to this place again our yearly tradition was broken today! Both my kids were disappointed! I wished the manager came to our table to apologize for not carrying onion rings anymore . I could write a book about everything bad about this restaurant. If you wanna have fun with the games then it's good . Fun and over priced.

Ok, I went back. It's actually better than I first thought. Ingredients could not be fresher. Mint tasted like mint, Farrell's tasted like Farrell's. It's lovely ice cream. I still prefer Sweet Rose for their salted Farrell's which is on Steroids but Farrell's 's is a toned down subtler, incredibly fresh version. Both great in their own ways. If on Third, I will go back in a heartbeat.
