Did caminos closed last weekend. It has been replaced with a restaurant called Veracruz (or something along those lines). The new place is a disaster. Over priced tapas and meals are super expensive. They want $54 dollars for a pork chop. Did caminos you are terribly missed

Dos Caminos

one of the best Spanish restaurants I've been to outside of actual Spanish countries. everything is made fresh and the plate combinations are amazing. I make sure to eat here every time I go to AC. the food is upscale in price but it's worth every penny. the view of the ocean and ambient lighting make it a great date spot too. strongly recommended

Dos Caminos

The only reason I gave this restaurant a 1 is because selecting 0 wasn't an option. My party of 6 was waiting for over an hour after being told 10-15 minutes. We watched as several parties of 5 were seated before us. After waiting for so long we were seated at two high round tables that were pushed together. The space was not adequate enough to fit our food, let alone it wasn't comfortable. As we sat down we noticed a rectangular table was being cleaned and opened. We asked our server if we could move over to the open table. Our server asked the women who are responsible for seating and they explained that the table was already taken. My party watched as the table remained empty for over 20 more minutes. As we waited we spoke to a manager regarding our issues. The manager explained that the table was reserved and there was nothing he could do for us. I would never return to a place with such poor service! I advise other people to steer clear of this Dos Caminos.

Dos Caminos

We came with a party of 17 and the wait staff did a nice job considering all the strong personalities that they had to deal with. The loss of star comes from the food. The food was good, but just nothing outstanding. My favorite item of the menu turned out to be their salsa verde that they served as an option with the chips. It was garlic forward on the pallet with a little heat in the back of the throat. It really was a great salsa. With that being said, it was the only memorable food item from the night. Again, the food wasn't bad, it just wasn't anything I'd crave to come back for.
