Great place! We really enjoyed ourselves. All the staff are very friendly and offered tons of knowledge for it being our first time on a few of the table games! We stopped in at the restaurant and it was 5 stars all the way around, great friendly staff there as well! Must stop in if your I'm the area! Thanks again to all the staff that helped us!

I like the layout of the casino. It's very open and a fun place to wander. It's an adventure, and the table games are second to none. The staff are very attentive and the wait staff that patrol the floor do very well. I've never been asked that much if I needed anything. Played a lot of video slots and had a blast. Saw some upcoming performances that I would like to see!!! Excellent!

Working in the area (very close to SP) and staying at the hotel, to get to the hotel area you MUST walk through the gambling floor (smell of smoke). I believe it was designed that way. Guy Fieri restaurant is open 24 hours, off the gambling floor area. Rooms are beautiful (do not smell of smoke). New and modern. All staff encountered we're friendly and courteous. Would stay here again.

I was driving back to Long Island from Upstate N.Y. The rain wouldn't stop in fact it was coming down heavier. I decided to drive half way down and look for a location that had a bar so I could watch Monday Night Football. I came across Mount Airy Casino during my search and figured if the football game was a blowout than I have the option to gamble. It turned out the football game was a blowout and so was my chances of winning it big at the casino. Otherwise I had a GREAT time at the casino. The employees are friendly plus a few cute ones work there. The room was Amazing. I paid 118 but with taxes and fees it quickly jumped up to 150. But I'm not complaining. The bed, sheets, pillows were top notch. I didn't feel like getting up but I needed to vote Conservative in the Democrat State of New York.

I visited to celebrate my good friend 34th birthday. The drive from the city wasn’t to far and really nice rooms. When we arrived our group of 16 was helped out by a lady named Barbara. She was very helpful. Upgraded the birthday boy and his wife to a very beautiful suite. All the staff was very pleasant and the locals from pa are very nice. Fun place for a quick getaway. Thanks again Barbara.

For my little brothers 21st birthday we went to Mt.Airy Casino. The security check area was thorough and pleasant. Security was plentiful and approachable throughout the floor. Any questions that we had were met with quick and friendly advice. At one point we had to forfeit our drinks due to state laws of no alcohol on the floor after 2:30am, but we were tactfully warned prior to that time. Great experience. I can't wait to go back!

Please keep in mind that this “two star” rating is specifically for their free “complimentary fireworks to the public”. We have not visited Mount Airy Casino and this review does not reflect the level or ratings of the resort or lodge. We decided to check out this free offer from Mount Airy Resort on Tuesday 7/3.... and it was just “ok”.... basically the norm/ average for the area and comparable places. The disastrous part is their traffic management. Simply horrible. They need to provide some form of training to individuals who will be given the task of dealing with large amounts of traffic and parking. The workers handling the high volume of traffic were completely clueless. Your best bet if you want to view the free fireworks is to find parking outside, away from the resort, then simply walk over. Be alert and careful as there could be traffic and the lack of proper sidewalks or walking paths.

The overall accommodations at the hotel are very nice. The rooms are clean and nicely appointed. The reason that it gets 1 star is because for anyone that is staying at the hotel portion they are treated as though they are prisoners. This is in response to the Pennsylvannia laws regarding underage gambling. For anyone that is under 21 years of age they are escorted everywhere and can not go to any of the restaurants and or shops without an escort. This is due to the idiotic layout where the gambling section is in the middle and the shops and eateries surround it on the outskirts. If you are considering bringing anyone underage I would strongly advise against it. There are other places that are as nice and don't have the massive inconvenience.

The only reason I am not giving this hotel 5 stars is because the minute you walk in all you smell is the cigarettes from the casino. In my opinion the cigarette smell lingered through out the entire hotel. I have stayed in numerous of resorts that house a casino inside them that don't have the lingering smoke smell so I know its possible to eliminate that odor. Now the good. This resort has free valet parking you can also self park if you like. The rooms are very spacious and clean .The bed was comfortable. The bathrooms are big. The only thing missing from the rooms is a microwave. There are numerous restaurants to eat at on site as well as a 24hr restaurant.Starbucks is on the property. I utilized the gym which was surprisingly pretty crowded. The gym is small but big enough to allow you to get a decent workout in. The pool was beautiful. I loved the fact the entire pool area is heated (mind you it was 38 outside when I was there) so a heated pool was very welcoming. There is a bar located in the pool area and they do have towels. I visited this hotel during the week so I did not get to experience any of their clubs or see any shows. This resort was very adult friendly. I recommend it for a romantic getaway. I personally would not bring my kids. There is nothing for them to do here and knowing my kids they would be bored.

I was pretty disappointed in my visit. If I want to do a casino I generally do Sands Bethlehem, but I don’t really like it there, and I had the idea in my head that Mount Airy was much better. There isn’t anywhere to get a cheap bite to eat, like a slice of pizza or something. And the casino is tiny—I felt like I had circled it 10 times in an hour. They don’t have good beer available for those on the casino floor, only Natural Light, but in other casinos I’ve been to I can get whatever alcohol I’d like. I suppose it’s a good place to go gamble if you’re close to Mount Pocono, but we drove from around the NYC area and it feels a little far for how small the casino was. It also seems like most areas are smoking areas, which became overpowering for me after a bit. All in all, it’s only okay as a casino. I haven’t stayed in the hotel, but the hotel portion does look very small. Even in its decrepit state, I probably prefer Atlantic City.
