The Buffet at Harrah's

I stayed here last week. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The hotel room was clean and quiet for the most part. The room was somewhat updated, definitely not like the pictures posted on Google. I used the gym while there and I would recommend a few sets of free weights and at least one work out mat. Check in was fine but the manager seemed to talk down to her employees some. My bill was confusing. I had two do two reservations. One for mon and Tues night and then one for wed. I was charged 111 then 167 when I changed my reservation. Then paid another 420 upon arrival. 150 was incidentals. I understand these were deposits, but still super confusing.

Great place to watch a Chiefs watch party at Winning Streaks. Plenty of space with televisions surrounding. Good burger special during the night that lot D visited. 610 Sports Radio was present and there was a drawing one lucky guest won. Great night and great place with awesome friends and Chiefs family! Go Chiefs!!

I like the fact there are tons of places to eat and drink! The buffet is clean and you don't have to wait around for more food. The prices are bad at all either! The bars have quick service and super friendly staff! The parking could be a little better with signs to show you were to go, but it's a great place to go and have some relaxing fun with friends or try your luck and see if you can't win a jackpot or two!

Beautiful and clean. Many choices for food, buffet, an upscale steak and a wonderful bar whose bar tender knows how to mix those drinks. The room was clean, roomy always ask for a better view if they are unable to upgrade. Casino was clean but many old games I wish they had more of the newest casino slots. Just a little disappointing to just see the older machines.

The Casino is nice with 2 floors. Rewards members staff is super nice. They offer free shipping serve soft drinks and coffee. Not like Vegas where you get free alcohol beverages if you're playing but I kinda expected that. I'm originally from Vegas so although this Harrah's isn't in a Casino/ Gambling town it's nice for what it is.

Everything was pretty standard. It seemed to have a strong cigarette smell, even for a casino. The food was okay, but the staff was really friendly. It wouldn't be my number one choice for an evening out, but it's a fun change of pace.

Clean room, nice beds, good pillows. Strayed in the KC tower. Slow elevators are my only complaint. Decent late night food was difficult to find outside of the pantry by the front desk and a noodle place in the casino. Went to Denny's down the street... Casino is rather small in my mind. Des Moines prairie meadows casino is much larger. Still had a fun stay though!

The Buffet at Harrah's

Out of the 4 casinos in Kansas City Missouri, Harrah's is my second favorite. The hotel rooms are nice and clean, as well as the public restrooms thru out. They have great food options and friendly, effective staff. The location is great! Very easy access to the highways. I would definitely recommend Harrah's to my out of town friends and family, as well as to those who reside in the area.

Great hotel. Especially if you have dogs. They have special rooms for pets with wood tiled floors. Casino is as good as a las Vegas type of casino. Restaurants are okay. Steakhouse was pricey but food was awesome.

Beautiful hotel and rooms. Spacious and well kept. Rooms are separate from the casino so you don't constantly hear casino noise but the casino is in the same building and super easy to get too. Great restaurants and great food!!

The Buffet at Harrah's

Horrible place. If I could give negative stars, I would. I have been to several Ceasar's Entertainment properties and this one has to be the worse. People leaving four and five star reviews are either tied to this place or have very low standards. My husband and I stayed one night. Check in is cold and not hospitable at all. Received our keys and went to our room. Absolutely filthy and disgusting. Stains on the carpet. Mold in the shower. Dirty and dated. My husband went to complain on my behalf because he is a diamond player (I am only gold, so my complaint wouldn't have mattered) Michael at the front desk was the only redeeming interaction we had. He put us in a suite and waived all charges. The suite is dated and funky, but not as bad as their regular guest rooms. Michael also gave us a twenty dollar credit toward food which we did not use. We didn't use it because we ate at the buffet. That's a nightmare on its own. The macaroni and cheese smelled like vomit. The shrimp was kept in melted ice and was warm and smelly. The bread was stale. The deserts looked like they had sat out all day. I drank a Coors light and couldn't finish the first plate I had. Our server was nice enough and unfortunately I didn't catch her name. Top it off with crappy comps, promotions, and tight machines and you have a completely horrendous visit. I will never ever visit this property again. You should take notes from the Harrah's in Southern California. That is an outstanding property and should be the standards for all Harrah's casinos.

We had an awesome experience here!!! Like another review I definitely recommend sharing a plate of the chicken nachos, they are off the hook. Our bartender Adam is one of the best in the business!!! I can't say enough about the staff here, they truly made our stay extremely pleasant. Everyone is extremely pleasant and engaging, and they strive to make your stay the best experience you have ever had!!!

I love the Harrah's it offers so much more than just the casino. Voodoo always has something going on. The steak house is very good. The first placed I've ever tried candy bacon, and the best place. The scene is cool and fun

Clean bathrooms. Clean casino. Less smoky than others. Reasonable drink prices ($5 for a beer). Nice dim sum place in the casino, too. Park by the casino entrance to the hotel if you're trying to gamble: free and convenient.

The hotel is way over rated. I understand if your a hard core gambler and just need a place to lay your head but this hotel is not any nicer than a road side hotel a person could get for a cheap rate. I'm not a picky person just tell it like it is. The bed was ok like the room. The staff did their job the room was clean but but as far as being rated as a 3 star hotel its not. If you want a 3 star plus hotel this isn't it. So shoppers be warned your really just paying for a bed next to a casino. Better off getting a motel 6 and putting the money you saved on your trip.

Been to casinos all over the nation, this by far has the best soundtrack. Staff always says hi and are very courteous. Winning Streaks has fast service and good food. Poker room was the highlight of the trip. Will be back!

The Buffet at Harrah's

My husband and I decided to celebrate our wedding night here yesterday on April 3rd, 2018. We didn't have a reservation because it's normally not busy on Tuesdays. The person that checked us in was Sabin Bosnia; he was snooty and a little rude with us about not having a reservation. The room was about 145 and some change with a security deposit included. The room had a nice view of Kc but for the price the tv had barely any channels it cost $20 to rent one movie and the door had quite a gap at the bottom. The tub was amazing! The bed was comfy but the comforter was thin and small for a king size. There also was only 4 pillows instead of 6 like usual. We had the buffet it cost about 51.26 for two of us for the dinner buffet. The food was delicious but the dessert seemed old. The waitress was nice and stayed on top of things, the girl that rung us up seemed irritated. The woman at the rewards counter was very nice along with the security guy checking I.D. The casino was fun and hopping no complaints there. All in all the experience had its ups and downs I'm not sure if I'd stay there again but I'd go back for the food and the casino!

The Buffet at Harrah's

Stayed here for a few days on a combined business and fun trip. Overall it was a pleasant stay but there were some hitches. First the good: The staff everywhere in the hotel, restaurants and casino were amazing. Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to smile and say "hi" as they passed in the hallways. That was on thing that made our stay very nice The food in the restaurants ranged from very good to excellent. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Now for the not-so-good: It's an old property that is well-maintained by showing it's age in places. The walls in the room were dirty in places, but not "filthy" at all. There was not enough hot water in the mornings for shaving, though the showers were OK. There were also a couple of maintenance issues with the room, though nothing that prevented us from using it. We had a good stay, and if we visit Kansas City again we will likely give this Harrah's another try - if for no other reason because the people were so great.
