The food taste amazing. Great flavorful meals. My steak was slightly over cooked but the ambiance of the beach and bungalows at waters edge made up for it.

Went because we stayed at the hotel and it was pouring out, and glad we did it. We loved the old west atmosphere - sat in front of the huge fireplace - trout and halibut both very good. This may be the most comfortable place we ate in during our week long trip. And as with a couple of other recent places, it is nice to be able to have a sound level that lets us talk. I am not sure you could top this in Tahoe.

Second time dining here and the Lone Eagle Grille does not disappoint! Agnes was absolutely phenomenal -- please send our regards -- she and the entire staff are top notch and hats off to the talented chefs. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely wonderful food. We ordered the elk steak with mole sauce and a quail egg and it was seriously one of the best dishes we’ve ever eaten. We also had the salmon and it was quite good. The building itself is stunning, the views unbeatable, food presentation impeccable. They also had a good knowledge of gluten friendly food.

I brought a good friend from Australia here, to see the beauty of Lake Tahoe from a beautiful location! He was sufficiently impressed. Lone Eagle Grille has a spectacular view, with large picture windows, a huge fireplace to sit by... photo ops galore! I had the baby arugula salad and it was scrumptious.... definitely recommended
