With the new improvements, the place leaves you to wonder where the money went. The food is horrible. They said RibEye, and you receive a cheap piece of sirloin with little flavor. A vending machine may give you a better steak. Then to wait for this dog food you lose hundreds on the machines. Go out of town, you get better food and a hotel room for the same price of visiting here for a dinner night and entertainment.

Seriously Don't waste your money here. Every last dime and not one win nearly Every time I make the mistake of going to this bogus place. They never let me win Not once not ever. Of the three on the lake this one is the worst. Avoid Lake County!!

We went to the new premium dinning room Valentino’s tonight! I am sorry but it is a huge disappointment. We have always had good food when coming to the casino before. The new restaurant is just a box that is smoke filled with no atmosphere to it at all. The wait staff clearly do not know how to serve food and clear each course before bringing out the meal. The steak was over done and was like shoe leather! My wine was served in a water glass. We will not be back. You folks need an experienced food and beverage manager to fix things! Good luck

This place is so,so, I haven't stayed in any of the room's at the hotel yet. It seems the pay outs on the games are tight. The staff don't come around and offer any drinks. They do have 3 day's when they offer match play but,never offer much free play. I had the breakfast one day and that was good.

It's a mess up in lake county but the people are still kind and accommodating. Consider a trip to clear lake and spend some money. The proud citizens don't want the charity but they will work hard to show you a good time. They need some help and will keep their properties out of the banks and LA speculators hands with just a bit of generous help on our part. The casino is a good place to start.

Konocti Vista Casino and Resort just opened up their new restaurant called Valentino's. I'm not sure if it was just a bad night or what, but the food was awful and the service was awful. The servers seems like they did not know what they were doing, and the food was not on par with the other casinos around the lake. The ribs or dry and lacked any real flavor other than sauce, my son's chicken sandwich was dry and put together sloppily, and my girlfriend's chicken fried steak was Bland, the vegetables were almost a paste, and the gravy was not palatable to anybody at our table. They are obviously newly renovated, but the inside of the restaurant offered no eye catching Decor, it was more like being trapped in an Asylum, the bare walls offered nothing to the ambience. I hope they get their act together, I would like to try them and have a pleasurable experience. Here's to hoping!

So last night I came here to have dinner with my family and I could not be more disappointed. Fist off, the walk from the casino into the restaurant was like walking into an insane asylum: colorless, sound proofed walls with white padded boothing and no art or decorations to be seen. It was uncomfortable and lifless. Secondly, the wait staff did not seem to know what they were doing and seemed sheepish and uneasy. We had two people waiting on us before a third came up and told us that she had just been informed that we were seated in her wait area and would be our server. The guy who brought us our drinks brought our child the wrong drink because they were out of what he wanted and the waiter assumed what he would want as a substitute. Not to mention the paper cover on the straws brought with our drinks were saturated from his hand shaking so much when he brought them out. Despite my best intentions telling me to leave, I ordered the chicken fried streak. I figure this is a simple enough dish, hard to get wrong. Apparently that's not the case. When I ordered, there are two sizes, the waitress did not ask me which I prefer so I figured I was getting the large, I did not. The waitress assumed I wanted the smaller portion I suppose but it didn't matter in the long run because this dish was inedible. The steak and breading we're bland, the gravy was barely warm, grainy and thin. The potatoes were alright but we're also covered in the gross gravy. Then, there was the saddest excuse for vegetables I've ever seen. These things were streamed past the point of no return and we're so mushy they looked like they had been smeared onto the plate with a butter knife and then someone dropped a pepper shaker on them. I have never, not even once, been served a meal so bad I couldn't eat it at a restaurant, but I could not eat this food. The waitress was very kind and agreed to take it off the bill. She mentioned that this was happening a lot and that everyone was new. All I can say is if you're going to open a restaurant, make sure your staff is fully trained and make sure there is a proper chef checking dishes before they go out. A little bit of decor also goes a long way. I used to love coming here to eat before the remodel so I hope they step thier game up.

My girlfriend, son, and I went to try out the new restaurant in the casino. We ordered the ribs, chicken fried steak, and the California chicken sandwich. The ribs were ok, but they seemed reliant on the sauce to establish any flavor. The chicken sandwich was dry and bland. The fries were good. The vegetable medley was overcooked and was deteriorating from being saturated. The worst part was the chicken fried steak, it was absolute garbage. It lacked any flavor in the breading and steak and the gravy was grainy and awful. The wait staff were not attentive to us at all. Portions were unimpressive. Also, for being newly remodeled I can say, the moon has more atmosphere than this place. I hope the can get it together soon.

I enjoyed my visit by winning on some of the slots. Also you get complimentary soft drinks or coffee. The workers are helpful and friendly and the atmosphere is that everyone is enjoying themselves as where at some casinos you can get one of the patrons slamming or hitting the spin button on the machine and your wondering if the machine is ever to break at any moment or is any of the casino workers gonna say something to them to stop with the annoying slamming? I often wonder? Anyways back to what I was previously saying is that lastly I give this casino an A plus plus !!
