Nice, small casino for those who pref r smaller low-stakes gambling ($5, $1, quarter, nickel, and penny machines). I lost the first night in was there, but won the following 2 days later -- doubling my losses. I can't wait to visit there again. Thank you Taos Mountain Casino.
Been going here the last 15 years.... 1st year of no live tables/gaming. I’m not 90 years old and I’m not playing slots. I won’t step foot in here again until I’m 90, and living off the government.
Lackluster atmosphere, tight machines and the worst male door "security" personnel. I will never set foot in this place again. Do yourself a favor, make the drive to Española and avoid this casino.
Cute casino in Pueblo Taos. Small with no alcohol/bar or smoking. We were the youngest there by at least 20 years, the crowd there is a bit on the older side. They alowed us to stay overnight in our campervan in the parking lot for those of you that enjoy the van life! They just require a picture of your ID and plates. The only reason I'm leaving 3 stars is do to how unfriendly the staff was. They seemed very suspicious of our every activity (and had no reason to be, we're lovely and friendly people). We had security asking us about our van the second we walked in the door. And they even made the trip across the parking lot to check on us several times throughout the night and as we were leaving I got interrogated. While we enjoyed the casino it would have felt nice if the staff was a touch more welcoming.
This place was interesting. TIP #1 NO ALCOHOL. I love drinking a beer or several while I play blackjack, but not here. Next tip, they only have two tables for table games and they are advertising that tables games will end 1/10/18. A wise old man told me they have been threatening to close the tables for quite some time with no action, so he wasn't worried.
