I highly recommend the new hotel, amazing to see the horse track from your room! The dual pools are great for family!! Pricewise its pretty fair considering the amazing food served for free breakfast when you stay! I don't gamble, but if i did, the tables are great to have as well!

The hotel is beautiful. The rooms perfect. Had a great meal at Virgil's. And we had a fun time at the casino!

We stayed overnight first time and it was really nice. The staff was helpful (as got in in on a cancellation) so we were thrilled to get the call. Beautiful rooms and clean. We definitely would stay again. The casino slots were a different story. Machines on Saturday night were not hitting nor on Sunday...but had a good time!

The bar food is good, but the real reason I went was for the casino. There are more slot machines than you can count if that's your thing. There is also physical tables for a bunch of different games. Personally I prefer roulette and blackjack. Right off the highway and easy to find.

1 night stay in 2 queen bed room. The room and hotel were really nice and modern. Parking has 6 EV charging spaces. Pools are outside so were closed. Included breakfast was traditional US hotel offering but in a nice pub restaurant. I would stay here again.

Poor people can't win. Buffet was disappointing . Dinner. No steak in serving pans. Had to ask refill on drinks. Machines didn't pay unless using high bet. Toilet stalls without toilet paper. Auto seat covers torn hanging in toilet bowl. We have been to Tioga Downs many times in past and found that service and quality of machines not the same even though they are new. Hope things improve.

Just not a good casino. I understand that casinos are in business to make a profit. However, management doesn't seem to understand that when customers win even small jackpots occasionally, they have more fun, spend more money, and come back more often. Never winning only makes customers go elsewhere. One big jackpot win per month might look good in a picture on the wall. However, a lot more smaller jackpot wins make customers come back. I have been to casinos in 6 different states. I have never seen a casino this tight.

The buffet pricing is extremely confusing. The lady's when asked to explain were quite rude. The lady restocking the salad items made a rude comment to me because when I put some shredded cheese on my salad some cheese fell off the tongs. My friend with me couldn't believe she did that. Food is great. Had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated. Went at 4:00.

We ate at the buffet for $10 each (drink included) it was very much worth it. I was so stuffed by the time I left. They have a make your own steak sub, pizza, salad bar, to much other food to mention other then fried clams I ate so many fried clams. They had a dessert island with a bunch of different cakes, ice cream with toppings fruits and some puddings and other stuff. I will go back just for the food! We didn't gamble much but they have a great selection of different machines.

Very clean, welcoming atmosphere. Staff was kind, on point, and attentive. The rooms were spacious and refreshing, however the corners of the bed frames did a number to my shins! The bathroom was amazing, but there was no exhaust fan/vent. After having the buffet (which was excellent), my bathroom most definitely needed the vent; I know my friends I am traveling with would have appreciated it, and the feeling was mutual! lol All in, a great stay, but those bed frame corners ruined it for me.

We got the family together for a 5$ per person buffet night. The food was pretty good, but you have to have your players car for the deal or else it's 12$ a person. Still not bad. I used the restroom out in the lobby by the bar and it smelled like warm piss. Such a bad odor, it needed scrubbed with bleach or something...

Every experience at Tioga Downs has been a positive one. Dinner at buffet is always great with wide selections of delicious food and the casino itself is also great while being not too crowded. Staff has always been great and I love the fact the pool is now open to the public. All around fantastic place to visit.

The signs to the place we're a little sketchy. We drive right by it both from the highway and the road to the resort. They need some more restaurants and stores to make the experience better. The casino was clean and the machines nice but lacking in some if the fancier slot machines I have seen at other casinos that are popular. My friend is a huge casino person and she was less than impressed.

I attended the Tioga Downs on Father's day with my brother and his family. We had the brunch buffet, watched the horse, ostrich and camel races. And gambled a bit. The food was amazing and the horse race and other races was very entertaining. I would highly recommend it and will go back soon.

Nice atmosphere, reasonable prices and generally polite staff. The outside snack bar/ice cream area was slow and the people behind the counter seemed more or less lost which is the only reason for the lower rating. The inside snack areas were faster and more organized. Track and gaming areas are also nice. Also there is a water slide outside now which is great if you have kids.

This place is definitely not the place for someone my age group to go UNLESS you have the money for it, and know enough to expect what you’re getting yourself into. It’s definitely not a good place to go if you are totally unfamiliar with gambling, as you will QUICKLY lose all your bets, or just look like an idiot when you go to place your bets or play games. However, if you know how to gamble and enjoy gambling, come on down! You will not regret it! The ambiance is enjoyable and very crowd-friendly. Coming here alone would almost be a sin. Get yourself a group of gambling buddies and make some high roller moves! But don’t blame me when you’re $$$ goes whizzing down the drain! My advice, just leave the Casino if you actually make a profit. No sense in throwing away any money you gained, even if it is only just a buck.

Good casino with lots of entertainment options. Virgil's food is delicious. The buffet offers a bit of everything for a (mostly) reasonable price. Slot machines are often more frustratingly stingy than comparable casinos elsewhere. The hotel send like it was built without a lot of forethought. For example, in the Executive Suite, there is no direct access to the bathroom from the bedroom, except through the living room. The "soaker tub" is small and neither romantic not relaxing.

Lovely, lovely, lovely! The bright, attractive hotel; friendly, helpful staff; good dinner & breakfast and lots of fun in casino (if you know when to stop!)! Had a great overnight get away without breaking the bank. Also our lush country side widely visable in buffet dining room (and while walking through hotel to casino and eating areas) beats all...especially while horses are out around track. Very close to quaint little Owego too.

Ripped off! I won a small taxable. I then asked to have the taxes taken out. I received the after taxes payout and a W-2G that reflected that amount. 2 months later I received a (corrected) W-2G in the mail that said they paid me the whole amount. They are now telling me that the cage records show that the whole amount was paid, yet I have a W2G that says they weren't. Apparently their checks and balances are woefully inadequate. Somehow the taxes were apparently taken out, either by the cashier, or the attendant that paid me. This casino has refused to take responsibility for the missing taxes.

The hosting staff had several reserved tables and were squabbling where to seat us. After it was apparent we were very irritated, they reluctantly seated the 2 of us at a table for 6. When I insisted on speaking to a manager, she apologized...but kept greeting other customers and barely paid attention to our complaint. The hosting staff was obviously instructed to not seat in the areas reserved for HR(btw the tables stayed empty the whole time we were there) and to save larger tables for bigger groups. We felt stupid trailing behind the 2 girls. I told the manager her staff is set up for failure when they don't dare divert from the norm. She criticized their inexperience often times make them less decisive. Needless to say the staff keep looking our way after we were seated...guess it's the penalty for complaining.

Went to eat at the buffet. Great food! Sort of busy but it was 6pm in a Friday so we figured it would be. Went to play some slots afterwards. Made out ahead so that's good. Was pretty crowded, but again, it was Friday evening so it was expected. Overall cleanliness was great and staff was helpful. Will go again for sure

This is a really nice casino actually, I was impressed. I was there on a Friday afternoon and they had a nice crowd. The slots were busy as we're the table games. I didn't check out the poker room but it looked like they had some good action going on in there as well. It was clean and staff was friendly. I look forward to my next trip and hopefully I'll be able to spend the night in the new hotel and have dinner. Oh, the racetrack seemed like it would make a nice evening in the summer and looks like they have a couple nice patios as well.

Fun gaming atmosphere. Don't go expecting to win, but easy to break even if you don't get greedy. Employees were all very friendly. Buffet is $15 and the food was awful. On par with a high-school cafeteria. Parking was plentiful. I'm hoping they get their casino bid, that could really lift this place up.

Wed senior buffet can't be beat, good soups, salads and the ice cream is creamy with lots of toppings. Slots are OK, trotters in the summer race. Real nice concert at reasonable prices. Don't miss the Halloween costume contest with 1000

At 3 am I, a paying customer and semi truck.where there is no posted warning not to park overnight. Was woken up and forced to leave with threat of cops being called.real nice. ..
