I'm giving this place 5 stars tonight due to my waiters and the filet migon. My waiters were handsome young men named brian and zack. And the filet migon tasted great with the au poive sauce! Thank you for exceptional service.
I had booked Fred and Steve's for 20 people well in advance for my mother's 85th Birthday. On a Sunday night the restaurant was not busy yet drinks, appetizers & the meal coming out of the kitchen was particularly slow & marginally warm. Took 2 hours for the first entrees to be served! Four steaks were overdone & had to be recooked, the swordfish & salmon dry & tasteless.The waitstaff were very attentive, worked hard & the manager did his best to make things right by comping a portion of the check. Definitely a major need for experienced chefs & improvement with kitchen staff. Will never recommend this restaurant!
The service was horrible. My steak had a lot of fat plus I got sweat potatoes instead of mash . My mother got stuff lobster the stuffing was bad and order bake potato never got it but got bill for it . Should went capital grill instead . Ps i will never go back .
With a reserved party of fourteen, I would have expected much better service for the price. Five of the meals were wrong, we had missing sides, and was only able to get one beer due to wait staff coming back twice because they didn't have what was on the menu. It took the wait staff 30+minutes to tell me that they had no idea what was available for beer. @$1400.00, this place not even close to the 4.2 rating Google has. Waste of my money and will not go back.
This was my first visit to Fred & Steve's
And I was wowed by the service and of course the food.
I felt appreciated as a customer and I will definatley have a return visit.
I treated myself to the surf & turf and I really enjoyed my dish.
My server's Errol and Kevin made me feel extra comfortable.

The whole experience was outstanding. The Food was cooked perfect. The Filet served Oscar Style with stuffed shrimp was a meal that any steak lover would think is top notch. The servers were just as good. Errol and Nick were knowledgeable and had a great personality. I look forward to going back.

I had made reservations for my husbands 40th birthday at Fred & Steve’s Steak House. His choice… The service was beyond my expectations provided by our waiter David Costa. Our waiter was very personable and very efficient. He made great suggestions off the menu including great cocktails. It was a very busy Saturday night with a large function running at Twin Rivers that night. His timing and attention always made us feel as though our table was his first priority. Definitely would recommend dining again and requesting David as our server.
Fred and Steve's is just about the best Steak House within 25 miles. And you get TRIPLE casino points on Wed or Thurs nights too. Ask for Danielle on the weekends. Best server around. The Salmon is great too. Plus deserts and apps are the bomb. Even the Nachos are amazing. Spending only 12 bucks on the 36 dollar Filet Mignon is a real treat on Wednesdays or Thursdays.
Our steak orders were mixed up which left me with a very dry, overdone filet and my husband with a rare ribeye. No one came to check on our orders - service was poor. The manager did come over once we were able to talk to our server, and he did adjust the bill. However, "Steve" was only two tables away, saw the manager talk to us, and never got up to see how things were in his restaurant. If he doesn't care, why should the staff? We won't be going back. Better steaks to be had elsewhere.
