They bring in decent talent but the venue is less than ideal for concerts. Maybe good for banquets and receptions but there's no stadium seating if you aren't up front you'll be looking between heads. They have a screen but they don't have a good camera or lighting so it's blurry anf washed out so not really usable. I was able to enjoy the evening watching Brian Regan but if I wasn't already familiar with his facial expressions and mannerisms much would have been missed.

A very cute town. Holiday Inn Grand Resorr is a great property. Historic charm. Friendly staff. Steve did an outstanding job as valet and bell hop. He gave us a lot of helpful suggestions.

Saw a show at the venue upstairs, which had great lighting and seating, but left something to be desired without theater seating. Gaming downstairs could use more live games like craps, but otherwise we had a great time!

We might consider coming back but it was just okay. The key cards were reset for the entire building one evening so everyone had to go and get them reprogrammed. The cafe is supposed to open at 7 a.m. but at 7:15 there was still no signs of life. Their map needs a little more detail - we thought the tequila bar was Santana's. The access to the hotel is a little convoluted and inconvenient. The restaurant food was great.

Clean, nice decor, taking the time to find the old parts of the building was fun. You need to switch elevators to get to your room ,but that did add to the charm. Pool is open 24 hours. Staff is great.

It seemed to be very nice. We did not stay, we just stopped by to check it out. The casino floor was excellent. And we talked to the lady at the front desk about the hotel, we'll probably stay here in the future.

This would be the 2nd time ove stayed here and both times it's been awesome! The rooms are very clean and spacious, love the huge shower (pure bliss), the beds are like sleeping on a dream! Every staff member I encountered was gracious and patient. 100% honest, The Grand is the first place I have ever actually seen someone taking care of the pool/hot tub, and I mean this guys liked his job and seemed to take great pride, as he well should. I do wish there had been at least 1 more front desk attendant, both of my stats there was only 1 and it took quite some time to get checked in but they we pleasant and always helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone!

The view from our room waa spectacular. The servive was wonderful. We had a great time in this all in one facility.

Im basing my rating on the room. Expected better for the price of the room. No tub in the room. The room was clean and staff was nice and very professional. The area is awesome and casino/food was great.

Very nice casino, one if the more modern and nicer casinos in Deadwood. Very clean and the employees are personable and friendly. I have only been to this casino for the casino and haven't tried the dining options or hotel but I am sure if the casino floor is anything to go by I am sure they are equally as nice.
