We’ve loved visiting this restaurant for years. The hamburgers are great and I look forward to the Coconut Shrimp. Today the hamburger and shrimp were still delicious although the shrimp were limp and were just like those you can buy frozen at the grocery store. We also ordered conch fritters, something I’ve had in the Bahamas and the Caribbean and enjoyed. The conch fritters here are hush puppies with tiny, rubbery bits of what might have been conch. They sure aren’t conch fritters. Give these a miss until they start using good pieces of conch you can see and taste unless what you really want is a hush puppy. There are a lot of very good choices on the menu, skip the fritters. Go for the beach proximity, easy atmosphere and live music.

We loved the Palm Pavilion! 5 of us sat on the patio arriving at 7pm on a Saturday night in early February. The wait was about 10 minutes, just enough time to get a drink from the bar. A fantastic reggae band was playing and a few people were dancing. Our waiter, Adam, was spot on and served us well. Everything they brought was prepared and presented perfectly- see photos. The music was too loud to have much table conversation but we didn’t mind because we were all too busy eating. Here is what the table ordered: margaritas (heavy alcohol!), Appetizers: conch fritters, bbq wings, grouper cheeks. Entrees: Blackened Grouper, Captains Basket, Fish & Chips, Cheddar Bacon Burger. Absolutely NO room for dessert which was a huge disappointment! Overall we all left and talked in the way home how great that entire experience was. Thank you Adam and Palm Pavilion.

The server I had for a table of 7 was fantastic. The quality of service was great. However I’m deducting stars because the vibe of the restaurant wasn’t the best (we were seated inside the covered area of the restaurant). Additionally the food wasn’t the best. I had a fish taco which was $5.50 for a single “huge” taco. The taco was about the size of a deck of cards and was edible but there was nothing special about it. I would consider going back to this restaurant and sit outside in the bar or under the tent closer to the beach.

Best place around ... where the locals hang. Everything is amazing. Service, food, atmosphere. Amazing! (All but the smoke at the next table while your 6 year old is trying to eat their dinner. Cut the smoke out at least at the tables-keep it at the bar, please!)

Stopped here after a day at the beach. We were seated quickly and they have both indoor and outdoor dining. They were busy at the time we were visiting. We had a party of 8 and they accommodated us quickly. They have a pretty good menu ranging from hamburgers to seafood. I ordered a burger and fries. The waitress was friendly and handled all of our needs quickly. Food was good. I would recommend.

Visited this past Saturday night, 6/16/2018. We drove around for a half an hour to find parking, was told we could use the lot between the restaurant and the hotel, only to have the parking lot attendant tell us otherwise. Poor communication between restaurant employee and parking lot attendant! Server was attentive and the five of us sat outside. I know that sitting outside, I take my chances on being around cigarette smokers, however I think that most of us would like to enjoy outdoor dining with the fresh, beach air with family & friends (to include little children) who would enjoy the atmosphere without the nasty smell of cigarettes polluting our lungs (children especially)! I thought there were laws put into place in Florida banning cigarette smoking where food is served (inside and out)! Just my opinion! Also, ordered the grouper bites and was not impressed AT ALL! More breading than grouper, handful of green beans, some french fries and it cost me $16.50!!! No leftovers ~ Way too pricey for what you get and wasn't very good at all! My friend's salmon dinner was dry and I'm sure he paid way more for that than I did mine! Needless to say, I won't be back!

I absolutely love coming to this restaurant every time I go to Clearwater. The food is always fresh, and I have never had a single order get messed up. The "adult beverages" were the perfect mix. They have live music often, and the beach is literally right outside, so you can eat and then have a nice relaxing time in the warm sand.

A must go to place for me when I come to Florida. Out of the 30 times I have been there, it was the worst performer you can imagine playing the guitar. Used to be a laid back cool place to go. There was absolutely nothing calm or cool about this guy shouting and less than talented guitar playing. I won't sit through that again. I will read reviews to see who is playing and what type of music before I go. I suggest you do the same before you are disappointed. Service and food was great.

I really wish I would have gotten the name of our server, because she was amazing! She went above and beyond for me, as I am doing keto, and was trying to find a low to no carb option on the menu. I decided on the grilled grouper sandwich, no bun, she even had them put lettuce on my plate in case I wanted to make it into a wrap, it was by far the best grilled grouper I've had in many years and I'm born and raised here, so that says a lot. Service was spectacular and food was delicious! Highly recommend!

Great spot right on the beach. Food was delicious, I had the Beach Grouper Sandwich. Fish was fresh and flaky with a tasty sauce. Service was awful, our waiter brought out food and then forgot about us.

Location on the beach is great. Staff is friendly. Live music is great. The issue is the food. It's just not good. Party of 7 and no one was satisfied. Nice presentation of the meals but the flavor wasn't there. I really want to like it here and I visit often but this place is only good for cocktails, music and maybe an appetizer.

My brother and I were doing a Spartan race about an hour away, decided to visit the beach and when we were done playing in the water, sand and picking up sea shells we got hungry, asked a few people where a good place to eat was. We landed here and we loved it. Service was excellent and food was amazing. Two thumbs up!!!

Where do I begin? I have been affiliated with the Palm Pavilion since 1992. My family, friends and business associates have always stayed and eaten here at my request. The restaurant has always been a pleasant experience until recently. For the second night in a row, I took 8 people to eat and have drinks. The first time, I was told 45 minutes to be seated outside. After my name was called, the manager told me it would be another 45 minutes if I wanted seated outside. I had to complain for the first time in 20 years. The Manager was very accommodating and graciously seated us where we were told was unavailable. He even said he was in disbelief they said what they did to me. Tonight, I came back after the last mishap and asked for the same type table outside with the same group of eight people from my last visit. Since I enjoy this place and the food, I thought this would be no problem. However, I was once again treated with total disrespect and was told by the hostess to go away and stop speaking of them Once I begged for an outside table. I couldn’t believe my ears and told her to please not talk to customers that way. Keep in mind, I had my two-year-old daughter with me. We thought nothing of it and when ahead and set down after being treated like an unwanted guest. After going to the restroom, the manager approached me and warned me not to cuss his hostess stand. I explained to him I would never use a curse word in front of my two-year-old and offered to let him hear the other eight people with me tell him I did not ever use a curse word. I just spent another $300 with this place tonight and not to mention a hotel room for my employee. The manager told me he didn’t expect me back after I told him last time I would not return. He insinuated to not step foot back on the property. I will respect his wishes and take my money elsewhere. Please read the other reviews about this place and understand it is not the same palm pavilion we have all grown up and known to love.

Pavilion Grill

Food: Five stars. Table ordered clams, palm burger, and nachos. Price fair for a restaurant and amazing for the view. Wait staff: Attentive and intelligent. Had zero issues. Ambiance: 3 stars. This is a tourist location so expect douchebaggery. On my second visit there was a shirtless guy checking himself out in the bathroom and a biker with a large knife. Lots of sandbagging at beach side tables to watch the sunset so it was hard to get in an hour before. The thing is I see why...an amazing view! If you can stand the throngs of tourists and want a great beach view this place is worth it. Side note went on a Sunday night. Live music. Really good but too loud.
