Expectation: classic steak house. Good food grilled to order. Surprisingly good salad bar. This place is a staple of Tucson steak. With the grill in the middle of the Resturant you get a good feel for the quality of the steak and chef. I personally like my steaks a little more done as you can tell from the photos. They were still juicy and tender. The thing that surprised me the most the first time I went was how good the salad bar was. Seems simple enough but well worth the extra few bucks. I have photos from two different times I went. Both were amazing.

I moved to Tucson a little over two years ago and this has become my all time favorite lunch spot. I have been here for lunch over 100 times so far. The lunch special sirloin is always cooked to perfection. The wait staff is excellent and very attentive.

What a gem! I have been wanting to check this place out for a while, and wow! The Silver Saddle does not disappoint. Their staff is friendly and accommodating, and the food is exceptional. I had the prime rib and my husband had the t-bone.

So far the best steakhouse within the Tucson city limits! The aroma of the mesquite permeates the air outside. The dining area is warm, temperature regulated, and set up just right with a wall mirror that eliminates any sense of claustrophobia. It was really busy, but service was prompt and friendly. The food was delicious! Their ribs were slightly dry yet still flavorful. Our favorite flavors were the steaks, bbq sauce, and gravy!

Excellent service! Even though it was during dinner rush, and just before mother's day, we only waited a few minutes for a nice table. The prime rib and steak were both cooked perfectly to order. Fast, courteous service. Generous portions for reasonable prices. Leave room for lava cake dessert!

The baby back ribs were amazing. Succulent and falling off the bone. All of the sides were delicious and the desert was simply wonderful. Service was excellent. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the ambiance. It could use some work.

If i could give it 3 and a half stars, I would. I liked everything but the lack of seasoning on the steak. Texture, cooked so specifications, etc was all good, but they should season the steaks a little better. I liked the overall ambience. It was retro without trying to be retro. I bet this place hasn't changed a lot since the 1980's. Good salad bar. Good bar. Got a scotch and soda with my steak. You should just never have to pour A-1 on a steak.

Yum yum yum. Can’t remember the last time I’ve had a streak grilled on mesquite charcoal directly inside the restaurant. I’m not too familiar with restaurant and building codes, but I have a feeling its no longer allowed but it’s been grandfathered in for Silver Saddle. The outside looks so plain and dead until you go inside and see the number of people waiting. It’s good food served at fair prices. Nacho cheese sauce on their baked potato is something everyone should jump on! It’s usually the cheap cheddar and the nacho cheese sauce is so much better!
