My wife and I spent our honeymoon here and were thrilled with it. The price and accommodations were amazing. Fantastic clean rooms. We went during the fall (off/rainy season) and it was very quiet and peaceful. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. The tours offered through the hotel were a lot of fun and very professional. I will warn against using some of the 'freelance' tour guides on the beach. Some seem legitimate and may be fine but 2 other couples that were there during our stay had a nightmare time on a trip with one of the 'freelance tour guides' on the beach (without going into too much detail, it sounded like a very sketchy experience). As long as you stick with the companies operating through the hotel you'll be fine. We had a great time and made a lot of memories.
