Caring families, very good and innovative staff, fun and loving environment full of life. Your child will have *every* opportunity for a successful future. New IB program begins in 2014 with the incoming freshmen class. With one student in grad-school, one a junior in a 4-yr college and on the Dean's List, and one junior at Del Mar (top of her class,) I feel qualified to say that this is an excellent school that gives students the tools they need, a gem in the CUHSD crown. 5 athletic teams last year were league champions. Your child will meet students from a wide array of backgrounds, languages, and higher- and lower-levels of motivation. Your child will be safe. Your child is in very good hands. Encourage your student to participate, to use the tools like Naviance that are offered, take the PSAT test beginning fall of freshman year, and begin exploring the idea of college & career early. Much can be accomplished in 4 years with perseverance, and that's what colleges and employers want to see.
