I have just had what is by far one of the worst customer service experiences in my life over the past 45 minutes. I called Horseshoe Chicago (Hammond) to get information about a show this coming Friday at The Venue. After being told I needed to hangup and call another number by the lady in another country I called that number. That 219 number put me with the info desk (which I learned is actually in Vegas) who had none of the info I needed so they would transfer me to the person who would know. I reached Security (in Hammond) who had no information either. When I asked who I needed to contact for this information I was then called "Ma'am". I corrected the gentleman on the phone and then he repeated, "hold on Ma'am while I get someone who can assist you." I then asked to speak to a manager. Security then radioed a manager who said over radio they were on their way and asked if everything was ok, when Mr. Gentleman responded "depends what side of this phone call you are on." I was then told it will be a while and I was put on hold. About 10 minutes later I was transferred to a phone that rang for 7 minutes with no answer or voice mail option. I called back again and reached Dewan and after a brief (read 5 minute) hold was told they were going to find a manager for me. Came back on the phone 3 times and was told to call back in 15 minutes. I called back 15 minutes later and got the same operator, Dewan, who placed me on a brief hold again while trying to get a supervisor for me. Supervisor Sherry then came on the line and was somewhat helpful considering the complete lack of "legendary" assistance I received previously. She really did nothing for me other than tell me she will look into who was in the security office and remedy the situation and gave me another number to call tomorrow to get more information from their Total Rewards desk. The last call was somewhat helpful but the overall experience was far less than stellar and even worse far below helpful. As Mr. Binion himself would probably say, it was way less than "Legendary!"
