Nice, new, clean feel to the casino, as it should be since it is new. Buffet food was average, maybe slightly above average (good ribs and sliced beef) for midwest casino buffet standards. Crab legs are alright.. this is the reason to go and eat here for me. I do believe they overcook the crab legs though.. they are not quite as sweet and don't come apart as easily as in other places... a quick google attributes this to overcooking. Have been here repeated times, same result. Best price of all the places though to eat the buffet when factoring in the casino credit. Hotel is reasonable if you stay with another person on a weekday, otherwise it's pricy. Royal river has cheaper hotel deals but the hotel rooms are arguably not that good there. Least smoky of any casino I've been too which is nice... the keno machines I like to play are deep within the smoke free area and right next to where they sometimes have a band playing or dancing, which is nice. Other then that most casinos have the same machines and the only variation is the payouts.. worth a visit.. will update review if I can get them to not overcook the snow crab.
