Gold Strike Casino Resort

Employee breaks into my room at 3:30 am on September 18,2012 room #2647. Yes, you read that right, my wife and I stayed at the Gold strike Casino on Sept 17, 2012. At 3:30 am we awoke to a very large black male wearing a hotel uniform trying to gain entry to our room. The house key had already been used, thus the only thing between the intruder and our naked sleeping bodies was the flip lock on the door frame itself. I kicked the door shut and heard him say " OH NO THERE IS SOMEONE IN THE ROOM" I then asked what do you want? He did not answer but insted hurried away.. I immediately called the hotel desk 4 times but no one would answer the phone.. I proceeded to get dressed and made my way downstairs to the desk. After stating my concerns with the attempted break in they already knew what room I was in before I told them. They could not or would not offer an expaination, only an appology.. Needless to say that was NOT nearly satisfactory!! I am disgusted to think what could have happened if I had not set the flip lock before going to sleep, or perhaps what belongings we would have lost if we were downstairs gambling... TRAVELER BEWARE AT THE GOLDSTRIKE CASINO IN TUNICA, MS. !!!!!!!
