DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE
If you gamble and looking for comps, this is NOT the place to go. I get offers from all casinos complete with full comps and limo, etc. I went to the Hard Rock Punta Cana and had gambled 17.5 hours with an average bet of almost $700. This info was straight from their system and they told me I had only $700 in comps! What??? If you go to Vegas, Tahoe, Atlantic city or anywhere else and gamble this much, they will roll out the red carpet, these people could care less. The service was garbage and the employees all had attitudes, not to mention the place is going down hill. You would be better off going to Hard Rock in Cabo, Rivieria Maya or Tahoe.

Beautiful Hotel. The food is great and entertain throughout the hotel is top notch. The workers are great. The down fall is its huge and the train takes too long to drive by or comes by at full capacity. My room wasn't even clean until the 2 days after only because I called. The price is a bit high, guess you pay for the name. Overall still is a nice hotel compared to competitors.

My family & I stayed here for 5 days. When I originally booked our room I booked 2 double beds. Upon arriving we got a King bed & since it took more than 2 hrs to check in, since we were with a big group we just had a bed brought up to our room for our son. This resort is HUGE, unless you rent a Golf Cart you have to wait for one to get around. There are lots of pools. The bartendars at the kid pool area & the servers at the buffet area are GREAT for a group of 16 to 20 they were AMAZING!

Large all-inclusive resort, which gorgeous suites, several pools (kids pools, infinity pools, and pools with swim up bars), beautiful beachfront access, and some fantastic restaurants. 24 hour casino, and a night club add some great late night fun to your trip. There are a variety of stores around the hotel including a duty free store and convenience stores. The rooms each have walk-in showers and a double sized jacuzzi. The 24 hour room service and free mini bar are great pluses for a night in.

This is our second Hard Rock Resort experience. The first HRH& Casino experience was 2 years ago in Riviera Maya and we loved it! The service, the food, the rooms, were all amazing, so we had heard this one in Punta Cana was bigger and better. Parts of that may be true but in general our experience was less than awesome. The food was very good and at times excellent. Overall I have no complaints with minor exceptions to the food. We had a mix up at check in but it was because they had upgraded our rooms and was confusing as we had three rooms, 2 with king size beds, 1 with 2 doubles. We got that worked out for 2 of the rooms but my daughter and her husband had to wait a long time to get their room situation straight. They ended up with an awesome room at a great location.

Great all inclusive resort. They call it a mini bar in your room but it's more like a half bar with all litters of alcohol. The breakfast at the buffets is not that great, I recommend ordering room service. It's free anyway. Alcohol is free flowing at all the pools and most of the staff are very friendly. I do recommend tipping where ever you are served though. They treat you great. Use the safe in your room as you never know when temptation will strike. I'm definitely coming back here.

It is an absolutely aewsome resort. My family has been there 3 times in 4 years. It is very big but that is one of the things we like about it. Many pools and the white sandy beach is great. Service is exceptional. Facility is clean. Food options are very good too. Not much of casino folks but others stated they liked it.

Employees go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. Food not as good as before, now you have to make reservations to eat at their restaurant... I'm on vacation for goodness sake ( this is a new thing at the hard rock). They are cutting expenses to the max, bartenders don't have natural limes to prepare your drinks, they use some kind of chemicals that replace the lime flavor. There is not entertainment for teenagers at night. Others resorts have a disco place or night club for every one. Every night choice is either the karaoke or play pool and of course the casino. I paid already 6k to come here so I'm expecting more that this. The hotel itself is very nice, safe environment. Think twice before becoming a member. Once you are one, they will treat you like everybody else, they already got your money, so you don't matter anymore. You don't get room upgrades, or rooms with great views. Although every time you come they will try to upgrade your package by promising the moon and the sky. Is all about the money. If you complain don't expect any compensation, you will get just an apology and that they will let the management know. That is the end of the story. New management is making changes for them only, because the employees here are treated like slave. Over time pay is not something the use here. We see employees working from very early in the morning until late at night for almost a week and the get pay a salary. If they make a comment about why they're not getting pay what they should, they will get fire. I can go on with more details but I guess is enough for now. I regret so much the 24k I paid for my membership but is too late now. Learned my lesson the hard way and very painful

The beach, bars, casino and pools are fantastic. All the people are extremely friendly, especially Juan Pena in the moon bar. He literally made the moon bar one our favorite places. The rooms were spotless and any time we called down for service they arrived incredibly fast. The property overall was extremely clean and service was excellent without exception. The food however was average at best. The coffee was below average, the sandwich place puts the bread in the microwave to make it appear less stale? We found the pizza place, the Brazilian and Japanese restaurants to be enjoyable food and ended up going to these the most. The resort credits they offer are useless because you have to pay 20% of the cost with cash. The listed price for items you can use resort credits for are high enough that the 20% you have to pay with cash is the same you'd expect to pay at a resort that didn't offer credits. We had a great time and now know which places to go to for food, would definitely come back.

I had such a great time at the resort! Staff was extremely friendly and there was just so much to do! The only real negative was that the person at check in wasn’t clear about the normal credit hold. We were told it was $200 but what she didn’t explain was that it was $200 a night. You can imagine our surprise when checking our account. When we went to the front desk to clarify the issue they told us we would get the money back the same day we check out. At check out they told us it would be a week. It was a slightly bitter end to a great vacation but regardless I would definitely recommend.

I stayed at this resort for a several days in the beginning of July to end my tour of the Dominican Republic. I wish to speak of one incident that is very unfortunate. First, I will say, I think this resort is amazing. The check-in manager is awesome and did a great job. I had the opportunity to enjoy one of the newly designed Presidential Suites in building 7. It was here that I had 500 euro stolen from my wallet. I reported the incident to management. To make a long story short, nothing was done to compensate me in any way. Not even a complementary massage to help with the stress of this incident. The overnight manager Miguel is friendly and did try and comfort me however could not do anything overnight. The next morning, manager Oscar spoke with me after i requested a manager to my room. He explained that he had no proof and could not do anything. He actually was quite stern and offensive. He could learn a lot from Miguel. Other than this, the facility was amazing and would have been back within 2 months for my mother's birthday. Now I am considering a different resort. It's a shame that absolutely nothing was done to help or compensate. The response from Oscar is driving me away and I think I will not recommend this resort to family or friends at this point.
