I was quite disappointed in my stay at the Golden Nugget. I have family in Vegas but chose to spend the money on one night in a hotel because I wanted to take my daughter swimming in the tank and most importantly through the water slide with the sharks. They would not let her ride down the slide with me, they wanted me to send my 3 year old who cannot swim down the slide alone! That was my whole desire for wanting to be there was the slide and she and I could not ride it. The casino should revisit that policy or put a disclaimer on the website about the slide and it only being one person at a time. There was also a red stain on the carpet in our room that was quite nasty and looked like booze. But other than that I did enjoy the nice big room size and the staff was super super nice. I forgot to add that the price for in room coffee and internet is absolutely ridiculous!!
