My wife and I recently stayed here for a week. Its true the place looks a little run down, but don't let that scare you. The front office staff were friendly and helpful. Directions were accurate. The bar staff seemed a tad slow and surly, but we weren't there a lot. There were $2 tap pint beers during a generous happy hour. There is a small store on site that had the essentials (soda, beer, FREE coffee, candy, souvenirs, etc.). The cleaning staff were all very friendly and efficient. The room was tiny and looked worn, but was clean. The bed was a wonderful surprise. One of the best I've experienced in a hotel room. The free breakfast was at the on site Dennys. There was a choice of three meals. Beverage not included. The Dennys staff seemed extremely friendly and efficient. The Breakfasts came fast and were excellent. There is a bus stop for the 201 right on Tropicana that can connect to the Duece for going up and down the strip or connect to the WAX bus for the airport. There are 4 fast food restaurants within a block. There is a gas station with a food mart across the street. For the price, this was an amazing value.
