If your going here because your hungry- you be better served to eat something before you go, or be ready to go out to a second restaurant before you hit home. If your going because you like tasty food and don't mind VERY small sized portions- once again this is not your place to dine. If you want a nice place to sit and have a romantic view and a good drink- once again Panache will leave you wanting anything else. I hate that I have to give this any star, because even one star does a disservice to every star restaurant that has pulled it together in at least one category to earn that star. Everything about Panache is below a star. This is our story. We went on a Sunday Night at 7:45 the place was dead, the room tried to look nice, but all the dark colors and low lighting made it hard to see anything. This may be a good thing because there is nothing to see. You would expect a place called Panache to have some; you know PANCHE. It didn't! The service was beyond bad- They say they have a full bar and offered a special drink menu and I noticed some special Mojito's on it. When I asked for a classic one, she told me they couldnt make it because the only rum they had was Capt. Morgans. The fall back drink (jack and coke) was barely a shot, with ice so small that it melted before it hit the table. The waitress never took the menus away so they sat perched on the corner of the table for the entire meal. Classy huh? The food was G-d awful. I had the Tuna (which as other comment was poor quality over cooked while at the same time cold and flavorless. The sushi roll that came with it tasted like it just came out of the fridge- and worried me that it was prerolled and sitting in the fridge waiting for the next victim to order the dish. My wife got the scallops. Of which you got 3, arranged around 4 cold lumps of mash potatoes. The scallops ALL 3 of them claimed to be UF 10. must had been cut in half, they were also gritty and ill properly cleaned. I wont talk talk about the Calamari ap because this is a family site. but they were rubbery from being over cooked, and dark because heaven knows the last time the oil in the fryer was changed. The only thing you could taste was salt and spice. It was also just dumped on the table with out side plated and my wife and I leaned over it attacking it with our forks- wondering if the cook had ever thought of a better way to serve calamari and why didnt he go with that idea. My wife and I never felt welcomed and so I feel forced to write my second review ever on google. The first for our vet who deserved all the praise I can lay. Panache is not the lucky, but then neither were my wife and I when we walked in their door.
