Amazing Time
This is an old ship but it was great in my opinion. Service is amazing, food was good, entertainment needed some help. The casino was great. Lots of slot machines to play even though it was very busy all the time but I always was able to find a fun machine. I played mostly after dinner but actually won more money during the day at sea. Casino host was very informative ( our first Royal cruise) and was very very nice, infact the entire casino staff were excellent. The casino was a little smoky for my liking but all in all it was alot of fun. I would definately go on another Royal Carribean cruise.

Independence 11/26/21-11/29/21
Love this ship! It is NOT a huge one but is just the perfect size in my opinion. The casino is great. Lots of table games and slots. They also have a lot of air purifiers running to help get rid of the smoke. We stayed in Junior Suite 9568. Dika was the room attendant and was very nice, just not as talkative as others have been. The cabin was nice but needs to attention for sure. The sink was very slow to drain....we would pull the stopper out to make it drain faster. I think when the stopper needs replaced. The shower was decent however the water temperature was always luke warm at best. Could not take a warm/hot shower at all. The balcony sliding door was VERY loud. So much so that when we opened it late at night to sit on the balcony it scared our neighbors who were out on their balcony. It needs some WD40.

Great 4 Day Cruise
Had over 4000 points playing slots. I didn’t spend daytime in the casino, and only went after dinner. Service was excellent, and think I will spending more time on Royal. I am currently platinum on Carnival, but enjoyed not having to wait to get on a slot machine. Loved the JR Suite I upgraded to from a balcony. The extra room was perfect.

Independence of the Seas

Great ship, great casino, great experience!
The ship was absolutely beautiful. To date, it was the largest ship that we have been on. We really had a great time. The casino was really lovely. I usually don't play slots, but we got some free play and decided to play. We ended up having a lot of fun on the slots. However, the casino host is what really made the cruise. Cosmin was amazing, great personality and a great host. He really did make the casino an enjoyable experience! Lastly, Mallory was awesome in helping us book this cruise! Cant wait for my next cruise through URComped! Thanks Mallory.

Independence of the Seas

Thanks Tyler!!
Just got off the Independence of the Seas and had a great time. We were a group of 8 and we only played table games. The host Cosmin was fantastic, very energetic and made us feel welcome. It was my birthday cruise and he had the entire casino singing happy birthday for me at midnight which was really cool of him to do. Casino was big and had a good amount of tables open. The casino bartenders were great too and always took care of us with Prime. I normally sail Carnival and almost always get a balcony room offer at the end but with Royal I received an interior offer gambling the same way that I normally do. Not thrilled with the offer but it was my first time with them so now I know what to do next time. Pit bosses were a little standoffish at first but opened up to us more as the cruise progressed. I played Blackjack, Craps and Roulette. I played Craps all night one night with a pretty big average and only got a few hundred points that night. Next couple nights I switched to blackjack and roulette and saw my numbers go up significantly. So I would skip craps if you’re looking for points on Royal. Overall the trip was a blast and looking forward for more to come. The only complaint I had were the beds were hard and indented. They even switched the mattress out for me and still the new one they put in I felt like I was sinking in the middle of the bed. It was really weird and I never experienced anything like that before. Assuming it was just a one off situation, maybe I just had a bad frame or something. Thank you again Tyler!!! Such a seamless process from start to finish when booking up until the cruise.

Good trip- poor ratings by pit on tables
Amazing trip overall. Had a great casino host (Cosmin Constantin) who went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Won the BlackJack Tournament! Friendly dealers. Slots seemed tight. Even for a cruise. No real jackpots won all week. The casino is clean and nice though. Just make sure the pit is paying attention to your bets. I was rated way less than I played and received a terrible offer. Though the host did triple the offer after I chatted with him about it. They have single deck blackjack dealt face up! This was a huge money maker for me. Craps tables- terrible rules. $10 min. Single odds only unless you bet $25+ then you can take double. No bonus bets whatsoever. No ATS no Fire Bet, no repeater. Table is rarely open even on sea days - casino opens at 10 but they won’t even consider opening craps til 2PM. Then they only open half of it. The whole table opens around 9 then they close half back down around 11. Entire table closes by 1 at the latest. Definitely not craps - centric. And only one table.

Great Cruise
I love cruising and wish I could go more often. This sailing was the first time we stayed in a Junior Suite. It was nice to have more room to lounge in our cabin and on our balcony. The walk-in closet is great especially if on a longer cruise. The bathtub was much less cramped than the standard showers. We had a great experience on the Independence of the Seas, but if you care about the liquor store it is MUCH smaller on this particular ship. We haven't won in while, so that would be nice - here's to luck on the next sailing!
