I did not have high hopes for this ship after hearing several negative comments but WOW were they wrong. I absolutely loved everything about this ship. Beautifully designed. The staff was great as well. My only complaint is that the bar service in the casino is a little slow but that was ok.

Nice ship great layout very clean. Lotta staff appeared to be in training dealers at the tables. Underpaid overpaid didn’t pay a lot of people telling them they won when they dealer said they didn’t very unimpressed with the staff in the casino.

The ship was really nice, good layout. We had sailed Carnival many times before this and were excited to try out another cruiseline. One thing we noticed was the staff wasn't as friendly as I was used to with Carnival. They didn't say hello in the halls and I didn't see as many smiles. Just an interesting difference. The casino was nice, lots of new machine and of course the classics. My wife and I hit the buffalo and Aztec temple almost every night the casino was open

Food could have been better meet another urcomp couple on ship hung with them they agreed food was average at best trust me I am not a Karen I like to eat. Casino staff was great after 2 days the pit boss knew who you were made it very personable. Played more slots than normally buffalo hit good couple of times also wife hit on a different t slot But did not see any jackpots being cashed in thank you urcomped only question was the rating played with other people on BJ there rating was not high even playing more than me per hand also no ultimate holder table there is one BUT does not plays out for pairs and ace face sort of hurt my play

This ship was packed! Over 4000 passengers mostly crammed on one deck (lido/buffet). It was loud and smokey in many places including the main pool deck. The dining room was so crammed, the staff couldn’t even move around the table to provide proper service. There were not enough staff and food was delivered often late and not hot. My ice cream was often melted upon delivery. I won’t sail on this ship again.

This is my third time on the Divina. I am Diamond level on MSC and this is a good all around ship. Bar service in the casino was very good, and the menu in the MDR was good as well. Service around the rest of the ship was average. My cabin was 13190. It was right beneath the Buffet and very noisy from above. The view from the balcony was good with no life boat obstructing the downward view. But there is a big overhang which blocks the view of the sky. What surprised me the most was how the Casino Mgr NEVER came out to greet the comp cruisers. I've been on other MSC ships and the Casino Mgr always comes out and makes a point to shake hands with and greet the Diamond level passengers, as well as comps. Also, outside of the cash I brought onboard, I was limited to only being able to transfer $1000 from my credit card to chips. I was told any further transfers would be based on "my activity." Ie: I had to lose the first thousand before I could take out another. I wanted to withdraw a total of $6000 for Roulette, but was only allowed to charge $1000. Seriously, WTF???? I have NEVER been told that at any other resort or any other cruise ship. So that really curtailed my activity. I asked repeatedly to speak with the Casino Mgr, but I was told he was "still unavailable." Make what you want of it. This was my exact experience on my Dec 16-20 sailing on the Divina. I was happy to be comped by the casino, I was happy to make jackpots at a certain slot machine which fortunately made my cruise deposit back in winnings. But I'll never understand why I can't be allowed to gamble with my own bankroll. On the last evening, when I did cash in about $2k in chips, the cashier had to pay me with a lot $50s because the safe was out of $100s. Seriously. I was one of the last people to cash out that final evening though.

Our Ocean view balcony room was phenomenal. The room decor was pleasing to the eyes, very comfortable and spacious. Our stateroom attendant was very helpful and courteous . The ship had many different venues to suit everyone taste, the casino slots weren’t paying out too much. Overall it was a great 3 days cruise. Definitely recommend it!!!

We thought the accommodations was fine and the ship was very clean. The staff was exception especially during dinner service with Constance. The staff in the buffet was always accommodating and helpful especially Brigit Garcia. The casino staff was very courteous and Sunshine went above and beyond. She went above and beyond making sure my wife and I had an enjoyable experience. The slots were not paying off to have some additional playing time. The shows were pretty good with some really good vocal performers along with the wonderful dancers. Given the opportunity we would definitely cruise the Divina again.
