We hace sailed Valor twice. (Feb 2017 and October 2017) february was our first Valor cruise and we traveled with a large group of about 40 people and enjoyed the patriotic theme of this ship. We had a grand suite this trip. The room was HUGE and so was the balcony. The steward was attentive and kind. The October cruise we had an interior room. It was smaller but the staff was just as attentive. My husband and I hit the casino area as soon as we got on the ship. We have discovered we meet more gamblers at the casino bar day 1 than the people that roam around the ship and explore. Always a great time. During both cruises, we won some and lost some. In October, the casino host, Kyle,was a lot of fun. He got to know us very well. Heads up poker is our game of choice. I wonder though if Carnival put our points together because we were both gambling at the same table? We were betting about $75 each hand (each player) and did t get a bkunce back offer. That part was disappointing. It seems the casino is tightening their belt for some reason.
