Overview

GTS Millennium is the flagship of the Millennium-class cruise ships, operated by Celebrity Cruises line. Her sister ships are Constellation, Infinity, and Summit.

Millennium has a restaurant that contains wooden panels originally used in the RMS Olympic (sister ship to the ill-fated RMS Titanic and HMHS Britannic), removed and preserved when that ship was sold for scrap in 1935. Sources of food include a two level main dining room, called "Metropolitan", and a buffet that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner on deck 10.

Fantastic Northbound Alaska Glacier Cruise
We just got back from our 7 night Alaska cruise on the Millennium and had a fantastic time! We were very impressed by the Casino Hosts (Charles and Phillip) who came up to us on the first night of the cruise, while we were playing the slots, and introduced themselves. They both called us by name throughout the week of the cruise and made sure we had drinks and were well taken care of. There were many slot tournaments during the week and a large variety of slot machines. We love that the casino is non smoking! We were hesitant to book the Millennium because of the age of the ship, however, our minds changed as soon as we embarked on the cruise. The ship is well maintained and almost looks like a brand new ship. In the past year we have sailed the Equinox, Apex, Edge, Reflection and Silhouette and have enjoyed each one. The Millennium is now one of our favorites and we were very impressed with the Casino Hosts. On the other hand, we sailed the prior week on the Royal Caribbean Quantum of the Seas and it was the complete opposite. There was a poor selection of slots, lack of personal service, and a designated smoking area in the casino where slot machines should have been (Compared to sister ship the Odyssey of the Seas). The smoke in the casino was so bad that we were only able to play during the slow periods. Hopefully Royal Caribbean will update this casino in the near future.

Super Tight Slots, Great Staff
Had a great cruise, casino staff was great. Slots were extremely tight, the theo I got was based on 85% rtp but I personally experienced 77% rtp. Actual losses were 60% more than my theo, which is pretty terrible. During one session I got the drums on Dancing Drums 4 times and won maybe 50 bucks total (88c/spin). Lost 200 very quickly on Double Diamond and its variants, which I don't understand because it's low variance so I should get a lot more play out of it - hit frequency was very poor. Had much better luck at the UTH table - friendly dealers, even if there were some occasional hiccups during play. In short - staff was great, slots were terrible.

I do not recommend this cruise for gamblers
The cruise ship in general is nice but the casino is very small with a limited selection of slot machine and most are older. The worst is the casino host, Paul. He didn’t socialize with any of us. No offers of spa or specialty dining. No personality and no customer service whatsoever. I also made a post on Facebook and had several others confirm the same thing. There were a few URCOMPED passengers on the same cruise as me and agree.

Tight slots
I felt the slots were tighter than usual. I tracked my money in to time played ratio and found the payback was lower than any ship I’ve been on in the last 5 years I’ve been tracking. I just hope this is not a trend as the result of losing 15 months of play to COVID.
