Overview

MSC World America is a next-generation World Class ship where European elegance meets American comfort, built to welcome up to 6,762 guests and more than 2,100 crew. At the helm of its debut is Drew Barrymore, whose warmth, charisma, and adventurous spirit shine as the ship’s Godmother.

Sailing year-round from Miami, this groundbreaking vessel features a Y-shaped aft that opens onto the stunning World Promenade, delivering jaw-dropping sea views and dynamic light shows every evening. Seven themed districts await onboard, each with its own energy and vibe, from the excitement of Luna Park to the serenity of the adults only Zen Area.

Entertainment and innovation meet at The Harbour, a sprawling outdoor family park featuring high ropes, a lighthouse inspired playground, and the Cliffhanger, the only overwater swing ride at sea. Young cruisers can also dive into fun at Doremiland, which includes bumper cars, a roller rink, and water attractions.

Foodies can explore 19 dining venues, including the first-ever Eataly at sea, indulgent specialty restaurants like Butcher’s Cut and Hola! Tacos & Cantina, plus two buffet options and multiple casual spots like the 24/7 Luna Park pizza and burger eatery.

Guests seeking elevated experiences can unwind in the MSC Aurea Spa or retreat to the largest MSC Yacht Club at sea—a ship-within-a-ship concept featuring luxurious suites, a private lounge and restaurant, and 24-hour butler service, all with exclusive keycard access and premium perks.

Indulge, recharge, or simply roam—World America offers a voyage that’s anything but ordinary!

MSC World America

Great ship, lacks of service
Ship is gorgeous. Great layout. Not so organized boarding time for accessible customers after check in point. Buffet foods were great in taste and variety. MDR food mostly great, but they don't check on us after they serve the main course. I ordered medium fillet mignon, and it came out well done and no one bother to check on it nor even ask if they could replace it. They ran out of vanilla ice cream most of the time at the Pizza and Burger place. Our room attendant was not very attentive. never introduce himself and we have to turn on "Make up room" for dinner time otherwise our cabin will not be cleaned. Disembarkation was a disaster, all passengers were piling up by the middle elevators area on deck 6, passengers with scooters/wheelchair had no way to get out from Hexagon restaurant as our meet-point. Casino dealers mostly were not friendly, strictly business attitude, on the other hand casino bartenders and servers WERE amazing and super attentive, most of them remember our names and favorite drinks. Meet-Up Event was so awesome, we were super happy that we get to join this event, slot pull was great and fun! We wish we could go on another meet-up in the future. Thank you URComped!

MSC's next generation ship World America is a don't miss!
This next generation MSC ship is beautiful. We had the luxury of spending the week in the Yacht Club so, we were spoiled. There is so much to do on this ship, you simply cannot get bored. The fee-based restaurant were plentiful and offered great dinners but the pricing for extras is a bit too much considering the entry fee. The Top Sail lounge was our go to place and was always good experience. We enjoyed most of the bars including Elixir and Fizz. You need to find the Speakeasy pub on your own. Its a secret but be persistent. It is worth the effort. The private island is a must and so much more relaxing than RCL's Cococay. OK: the casino is surprisingly medium sized. Smoke Free. The pays outs on slots was low with average being 10X-20X, only on higher denominations was I able to get a reasonable jackpot. Mixing up the denominations and multipliers on the slots was helpful. We got a nice comp on our play in addition to free play. This was nice. Sadly, we did not do much table play. Maybe next time. BTW, casino was empty on private island day and there were 3 days when the slots paid double points so don't miss those. Things to consider: Formula 1 race cars, Speakeasy, Queen show, throwing darts in the sports bar (AllStars), Elixir specialty drinks, steak at Butcher's Cut.

Very low pay outs
I played what I said I normally play, did not hit anything big on either tables or slots. I think I had a straight once on 3 card poker once the entire time, but when I had atleast pairs dealer did not qualify, so really was not get a good pay out. On slots was not any better, I think the largest win on any spin that I got was about 40 dollars. Until the last night. Then I hit a bonus on one machine for 600. Again, by that time I already was down alot. Both the tables and slots didn't seem to hit for me. I know for a fact that on UTH I did not win on a single 4x bet at all the entire trip.

World America Casino
Good ship overall. Good comps based on play. Cash cage is understaffed so try to do transactions when the casino is slow, it was empty on Ocean Cay day and the casino is open the whole day.
