The ship was super clean, casino was great. Ended up winning $300 in one of the invited casino guest raffles. Great start to my URComped experiences!

Of all the casinos at sea, this one had the most often payouts where I could leave a machine with more than I put in. The casino staff is very friendly and walks by and gets to know you. My fave machine was the $1.00 max bet, HEARTS. I had no luck o the six $1 machines...a cruiser told me to change it to $5 and bet 5 lines, and my $100 turned into $395.

I loved that a free cruise on MSC was really free - didn't even have to pay port charges. The ship was stunning and incredibly clean. The interior cabin was very roomy but lacked storage and only has one US plug. We had a great room steward but they sure work the staff very long hours. Be prepared, this is an European based cruise line and their food, activites, and entertainment are set to cater to that clientele. English is not the main language so it was a little bizarre at first to be surrounded by so many people and have no clue what was being said. Every announcement and evening show was introduced in 5 different languages which is very time consuming. I was disappointed in the main dining room food choices but heard good things about several of their specialty restaurants. Every night They have shows with the same singers and dancers. The male singers were very poor and almost made the songs unrecognizable. They have 3 great polos that were completely packed during the day. There are very few daytime activities unless you want stretching or dancing classes. The casino had a nice selection of slots. I was pleased with the payouts throughout the cruise except for the last day, they made them noticeably tighter. If you want to earn the 9,999 pts for a free cruise, be sure to take advantage of their double points sessions in the morning and super late at night and skip the last day. I did leave the cruise with the same amount of money that I started with which is great after playing heavy all week. I don't think I would pay out my pocket to go on another MSC cruise but would consider if it was comped. They just need to revamp their activities and menus to appeal more to the US market. They did hire an amazing cruise director away from Holland America which was a step in the right direction.

I had an amazing experience traveling on an MSC cruise! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely fabulous, offering a wide variety of delicious options every day. The entertainment was top-notch, keeping us engaged and entertained throughout the trip. The ship itself was impeccably clean, with well-maintained rooms that made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. However, my favorite part of the cruise was undoubtedly the casino. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made the experience even more enjoyable. There was a great selection of slot machines with decent payouts, and despite losing a good chunk of money, I had my fair share of ups and downs—including an exciting moment when I hit a small jackpot of $800! I only wish I had more time to spend there. Overall, it was a fantastic trip, and I would definitely love to continue sailing with MSC in the future!

What a mess. If we did not have this cruise comped it would have been 1 star. Ran out of food (eggs milk bagels sausage seafood) menu HEAVELY repeated. I understand sometimes things go in according to plan. This was too much. Only two types of soda and barely any bottled water. Breakfast was hotdogs and egg rolls multiple mornings. No sugar for coffees multiple days or cream. Specialty dinning missing key entrees. The casino was okay not great not terrible. I don't think we will be back...

This was our second cruise on this ship. I did not think I would go a second time. I must say the improvement from April was 100% service was wonderful. Food was amazing and the ship obviously is beautiful. I would definitely Cruise this ship again. Every worker from waiters to CabinStewartd, customer service gave 100% to make sure our cruise was"10"

I loved the main dining room & our waiter Agus. There was always a wide variety of foods to choose from. Buffet had limited offerings & seemed to be almost the same each day. Nice fresh fruit, desserts were good & pizza was great though. Captain did not make himself known at at all & only made 2 announcements. Cruise director Ted was behind the scenes a lot & could have been out mingling with people & taking more of a public role. Graham the assistant cruise director was exceptional. He was friendly, funny, & approachable & kept everyone laughing. Casino was okay. The largest part of it was smoking, then a small no smoking area separated. All the action (table games, giveaways, slot tournament & bar) were in the smoking area. I don't smoke & it was horrible. Slots were okay, would have liked to have seen more interactive machines like Willy Wonka, Wizard of Oz etc. Pool was pretty nice, but again, one whole side next to the pool was for smokers & was nasty. Entertainment was good with the entertainment staff. Skipped 2 nights as it was magicians & not a fan of magic. We had a comped interior cabin & chose to upgrade & pay a small cost to go to an oceanview. It was a great room with a large picture window. Small amount of storage though with just 2 drawers, and a small area for hanging clothes. We made it work by using magnetic hooks on the wall though for some things. Weather wasn't good, but can't change the weather. Not sure I would be in a hurry to book with MSC again.

Well, let me start off by saying this ship is BEAUTIFUL! My wife and I just went on this ship for a 9 day cruise, and we had a wonderful time on this ship. The check in process was seamless and the boarding process was quick and without any hassle! When my wife and I boarded the ship, we were amazed at how beautiful it was! Everything was nicely laid out. The Crystal staircase was amazing! When we got to our rooms, they were nicely decorated and situated! The beds were too hard for our liking and even when they put a mattress topper on the bed, it still was a little too hard for us! The bathroom was nice and the bathtub was AMAZING! We had a wonderful corner like balcony and we enjoyed the views from there. The food for us left a lot to be desired! We ate at the buffet, the main restaurants and 3 of the specialty restaurants! I must say out of all of our dining experiences, the Butcher’s Cut (steakhouse) was the BEST food we had the whole week while on the ship! The pizza in the buffet was also good! All in all we had a great time and look forward to sailing with MSC again, but this time with our children!
