MSC World America Cruise Ship Overview
MSC World America is a next-generation World Class cruise ship where European elegance meets American comfort. Designed to welcome up to 6,762 guests and more than 2,100 crew members, the ship sails year-round from Miami on Caribbean itineraries. Drew Barrymore serves as MSC World America’s Godmother, bringing her warmth, charisma, and adventurous spirit to the ship’s debut.
MSC World America’s distinctive Y-shaped aft opens onto the World Promenade, where guests can enjoy sweeping ocean views, dining, entertainment, and evening light shows. The ship is divided into seven themed districts, each offering a different onboard experience, including the lively Luna Park district and the peaceful, adults-only Zen Area.
MSC World America Casino & Table Games Limits
The MSC World America casino gives players access to an extensive selection of slot machines and live table games. The table game lineup includes two roulette tables, five blackjack tables, four mini baccarat tables, two Ultimate Texas Hold’em tables, one Three Card Poker table, two baccarat tables, one craps table, and two Dream 21 tables.
Betting limits vary by game and table and may be subject to change by sailing. As of May 2026, betting limits and availability includes:
- Roulette begins at a $2 minimum and reaches a $50 maximum
- Blackjack limits range from $10 to $100 minimum bets, with maximum bets ranging from $500 to $2,000
- Dream 21 offers a $5 minimum and $300 maximum
- Mini baccarat tables include limits of $15 to $500, $10 to $500, and $25 to $1,000
- Baccarat tables with limits of $25 to $1,000 and $100 to $2,000
- Ultimate Texas Hold’em is available with minimum bets of $10 or $15 and maximum bets of $100
- Three Card Poker offers a $10 minimum and $100 maximum
- The craps table has a $10 minimum and $300 maximum
MSC World America does not have a separate high-limit room, but higher betting limits are available at select blackjack and baccarat tables. The casino accommodates both smoking and nonsmoking players with a designated smoking room separate from the main gaming area. As of May 2026, the MSC World America casino hosts are Sunshine and Miguel.

Things to Do, See & Eat on MSC World America

Beautiful, but HUGE ship
The ship itself is beautiful, but it is huge and it is very hard to find your cabin the first day! The food was meh. Some days it was really good some days. It was horrible most of the days it was just OK. The casino was a lot of fun. We had really good luck the first couple days and then not much after that. We ended with about 1500 points. And we ended about $100 in the hole. That is including the $500 deposit/FreePlay -$500 big one we had on the first day. No huge winds here but it was fun. The casino has happy hour times where they give double points. I was amazed that MSC requires 5000 points for a free cruise. So we’ll see if I get any offers with my 1500 points.

Our First MSC Cruise
We sailed on World America last week using a urcomped comp. We did upgrade to the Aurea experience. The ship itself is gorgeous, very sleek and elegant. The room was a balcony and was basically a normal cabin. The balcony was very small. We purchase the non alcohol beverage package and wish we didn’t. We feel it was a waste of money, the options were scare and we did not know to bring our own cup so we had to use the small cups they use for water. We saw that most people were doing the same. The complimentary food option were eh. We did do 2 night specialty dining and those were both good.
The casino… the hosts were amazing. I went on with no free play with my comp so using my own money left with over 26,000 points. I received a free suite certificate with the aurea experince and $50 free play. From what I learned from the hosts and talking to other players, MSC doesn’t have tier levels that you earn and keep. It is per cruise. So if I use the comp I received from my play and wanted to continue to sail MSC, I would have to continually play that amount each cruise. I just think their system is lacking the desire for players to continue cruising. We cruise monthly and with this type of system I will gear towards the cruise/land casinos I currently use, as they have annual tiers that keep you at a level and you can continue to build on that to get to the next.
As far as game selection, it was ok. With 282 slots, I found a lot of empty chairs. Even Dragon Links, there were 10 and the chairs empty alot of the time. Games were also very tight, which I know happens but over the entire week and even speaking with others.
Very thankful for the opportunity to have experienced MSC and not saying we will not sail again, just spoiled with other companies that better reward consistent high playing amounts and time.

Great ship, great music and entertainment, as well as, great staff.
We loved everything about our experience. The casino was so much fun but, unfortunately I did not win big and that is ok! There is always a next time. I'm so happy that I had such a fun time! I met a great number of fun casino players and I did share to them to get in touch with URCOMPED!!!! It helped that you sent me the URCOMPED lanyards....great advertising.

Not a fan
As an avid RC cruiser, MSc just doesn’t compare. Worst cruise we’ve been on.
Interior balance was loud until 11pm and again at 7:30am.

The Best Cruise Yet
It was my first time on a MSC cruise and it won’t be my last. My husband and I loved everything about the boat.

Great Cruise
Lots to see and do. I had an inside cabin. It was spacious and comfortable. Casino slots were good to me the first few days. I played Rich Little Piggies. Those 4 slots were always busy. The grand started around $790 & wasn't hit during the 7 days. Ended with grand $905. Mega $15k and counting.
Food was great. Night time parties were very well attended. Shows were very entertaining. Especially Odyssey. The female Aretha/whitney singer in the main showroom was terrific.
Get the donuts in the pizza place 😋
The ship is extremely clean & the crew extra friendly.

Grate casino grate ship
Love the ship casino the food the speak easy. Love everyone that worked on the ship fantastic trip.
I did not like that I had to pay for chairs and umbrellas on the beach I did buy the premium drink package so I was to use it on the island . But my gust were not able to use there none alcohol drink package .
As well as lot of people were pissed of some went back to the ship some paid and wer just pissed and said they would not do it again .
I travel royal and they do not do what you all are doing they have free chaires and umbrella and all drink packages transfer to there island and there specialty restaurants.
